In honor of New Year (but actually just because I feel like it), I present some random youtube vids that caught my fancy.

I don't often fall for secondary couples, but here I did:

Such sweet crack this promises to be. Seeing that I love Robin Hood type stories, that the writers are the awesome Hong Sisters, and there are swords, and last but not least, Kang Ji Hwan, who plays HGD is my newest kdrama love, I am psyched for this one. It starts tomorrow, actually.

Longer Trailer:

Sung Yuri, the female lead, training with sword:

Has anyone seen this kdrama? The MV looks awfully cute, and I adore Han Chae-Young after DGCH and Kang Ji Hwan after Capital Scandal?

Can he get any more awesome? He is playing his own musical instrument. No spangle or sequin in sight. No twirling torches or simulated groping. Just singing. I think he just might become my favorite jdrama guy. Sorry, KimuTaku :(

I need to find more of Hamada Shogo's songs because this is awesome:

I love this MV. Is this drama good? it seems very dark, with the main male character (who is dying) letting the female main character (a student) believe she is dying too, so they could bond. Anyone seen this one? Is it too disturbing for me? People seem either to love it or loathe it.

If you don't like Jab We Met, you have no heart.

Nagada Nagada, my fave song. Look at Shahid move:

Yesh Ishq Hai:

Aditiya gets Geet to call her scummy ex to abuse him over the phone :)

This is an awesome fantasy song:

Ending:

I found this cute tribute to Shahid and Kareena. Seriously, a pity about their rl break-up:

Kou Kou Kyoushi 2003 was my first Fujiki!drama and that in combination with Itoshi Kimi e is what made me his forever fan. Kou Kou Kyoushi 2003 is dark, but beautifully so I think and the acting is great from the leads. Despite the bizarre coming together of the two, you totally end up rooting for them all the way in the end. :)

Thank you!

I really wanted to check it out, largely because I love my angst and also because I think my newest quest is to see everything that Fujiki Naohito was ever in, that is subtitled.

I don't mind messed-up and dark, but I was a little nervous that it would be too odd for me (seriously, the reviews I found were either raving or bashing it like crazy). So I will definitely get it now.

It's a deep and thoughtful drama if anything else. You really have to get past the set-up to really appreciate it, and it sounds like maybe the bashers weren't able to get past that.

I can get past almost anything as the premise, if I am interested (hey, I enjoyed MatsuJun's 'cest movie :D)

I often get puzzled why some people can't like a drama (or movie, or book) unless the characters are paragons or otherwise wonderful people. I just want them to be interesting and complicated, for me to enjoy it. Niceness is a bonus, but not a necessary one.

Shahid is such a cutie. Somebody needs to write some quality roles/movies for the guy.

Hopefully he'll be more selective with future movie roles than he's been in the past (Fida???? Yikes).

I'm nuts for Han-seung and Yoo-joo. I think I might look through the bits of their story in "Coffee Prince" and re-watch them while sighing.

Thanks for the MV!

Oh, I think I quite like his singing too. It is nothing spectacular but sounds pleasant and YAY! The total lack of sequin and groping is particular appealing. It seems as if the song has more lyrics than the usual J-pop songs do. YEP, I like this guy. he smiles nicely whilst singing too.

Yeah, he doesn't have the heavenly voice or what not, but it's pleasant and I was so relieved he acted like a grown-up on stage.

I really hate JE floorshow stuff. I find it stupid and ridiculous. Your singing should stand on the strength of your voice, lyrics, and music. Not ridiculous display of fanservice.
