Yup. If you've made it to Gordon's episodes in Supernatural Season 2, I think Gordon is meant to be Gunn gone horribly, horribly wrong(note: Gunn himself is about as much of a straightup good guy through and through as you get to be in the Buffy-verse unless you're Buffy, Tara, or Riley)

I think there are some really wtf? bad storyline lines in the later season but overall I think they had some good episodes. I'm curious how you will react to it.

There is a lot of stuff that seemed like enforced changes from the outside (like they try to introduce a police chick in season 1, but she then disappears rather quickly, stuff like that).

I watched the show religiously (and BtVS) when I was in high school and now I'm re-watching it. I have all five seasons and am going through each episode once a week. I'm watching it with someone else, who doesn't understand the word marathon at all so it's taking forever.

It's an interesting show with some really terrible storylines at times but the good episodes are just fantastic. Also the fifth season was so bad at times but there were enough amazing episodes to make it a worthwhile watch from what I remember - I'm still only on season 3 of my re-watch, so I don't remember it that clearly except for the series finale which I will never forget. I'm sure you already know what happened. :P

BTW, I finished Tree of Heaven. I don't know if I'm happy with the ending to be perfectly honest. I'm torn.

I loved Angel, some of the seasons were superior to the Buffy seasons that ran at the same time, when they were both on the air, in my opinion.

I did end up loving Fred/Wes but I also really loved Wes/Lilah. and I love all the characters on Angel, I love how the ones who had been on Buffy developed and changed like Angel, Cordy and Wes and I loved Fred, Gunn, Lorne and others that began on Angel. and I loved it when Spike was added to the mix because I am a total Angel/Spike(and I also happen to be a Angel/Cordy, Angel/Buffy, Buffy/Spike shipper, Joss' shows were where I first started to multi-ship!)shipper, and I felt he added a lot to that season.

This bring back memories. I started watching it after Buffy because I needed more Angel but lost touch after one or two seasons. Hmm, if there is a proper ending to this show without it being open-ended, I think I might consider watching it again.

Oh God...Wes! The whole Wes/Fred thing was so heartwrenching. Wes was always my favorite character because I felt he had the most natural progression and growth as a character. And then, THEN, he finally gets what he wants...Fred...and ugh! I don't want to spoil you since you haven't watched it yet. The last episode, the scene with him and Fred/Ilyria had me sobbing like a baby.

By the end of the show, I just didn't like Angel that much. But Wes happily stepped up and took his place for me.
