A Hong Kong movie called Embrace Your Shadow (挚爱) (2005). Why? Because it stars the adorable Fiona Sit and, much more importantly, to this obsessive, the super-awesome Dylan Kuo. It also sounds like a really cute movie anyway. It's also easy to find cheap with English subs. Thanks to calixa for the heads up about it!

Synopsis: Fiona Sit plays a 23-year-old woman with a tough life: a handicapped older brother and a small six year old niece she must take care of. Nontheless, her family is full of love. One day, a thief (Dylan Kuo) runs into them accidentally and, touched, decides to help them out. A romance develops between them but, this being an Asian movie, I foresee doom ahead. Btw, Does Dylan Kuo ever star in anything where he gets a happy ending? I mean, we have The Outsiders, and White Robe, and this, and the only reason The Outsiders 2 doesn't end in tears is because it's a midquel so everyone is safe to go on to suffer in the second half of The Outsiders proper. Is it a 'he is good-looking so he should angst?' thing, or what?

Also, this is really shallow and random but OMG. He is 6'2". I looked it up. Oh boy. That's even taller than Joo Ji Hoon. I think I found another Taiwanese actor, besides Vic Zhou where I need to get my hands on everything he's ever been in. Yes, I am shallow, why do you ask? But hey, in my defense, besides being super hot, both Vic and Dylan can act, not something I can say for all Asian drama hotties.

I have this movie on dvd, and yeah, I got it really cheap too... movies are so much easier to buy here than dramas, sigh.

I hope you watch it soon! I loved it and totally cried. Just like you, I bought it after I watched the first few eps of The Outsiders and thought 'He is super hot.' Hee.

Oh God! He sure is easy on the eyes. A very very very minor thing is the Adam's apple...i know it's weird but i just find them a bit weird and get mildly freaked out by them.

hmm, i wonder what i'd look like next to a 6'2" hottie...off she goes to hunt down such a specimen...

OMG...if someone dies in this...I will be sooo angry(especially if it is Dylan Kuo)...btw do you know if White Robe of Love has a happy ending?! I like it better(so far) than Outsiders because it is the total reversal in character( Andy is NOT shy and super funny and Dylan is really shy and timid and HOT-ok that's always going to be the same^_^)...this looks cute...I want:P

Haha...I would be a little surprised if they *somehow* found a way to kill him off in TO 2...that would actually make me laugh...because I'd think he was cursed to always die:P:P
