I started watching Full Metal Panic: FUMOFFU and I haven't laughed like this in a long LONG time. It's hilarious and adorable and shippy and to die for. It also makes me want to mother Sousuke about ten times more. You get to see Sousuke negotiate a hostage situation in his own, scarily unimitable, style, and you get to see how he treats a love letter (and Chidori's jealousy is even cuter). And how indicative that the boy likes plain rolls and not the nice ones everyone does. And the vignette where he and Chidori have to race to get her homework, the one she lent him to help him with his (which is so cute in the first place), performing death-defying stunts, and being dodged by bad luck, it too, too funny. Especially with the bit of cuteness at the end where it turns out he is running a high fever which is why he is messing up and she goes from annoyed to solicitous in a nanosecond.

The funniest thing about thes are the previews though. My favorite is:
Sousuke: Next week, on the action show FMP, you will see many battles between AS and...
Chidori (interrupting): There won't be any AS in this ep.
Sousuke: What, none?
Chidori: Not even at the end.
Sousuke: But then how do I get to show off?
Chidori (ignoring him): Next week, on the romantic school comedy FMP...
Sousuke (interrupting): Hey, no one told me this was a romantic comedy!

Heeeee.

I also keep thinking about last night's Veronica Mars and how good it was. Especially the Logan/Veronica dance. Which is to die for, especially with all their messy past. And the fact that someone saw Weevil frame Thumper (kid in the van) so he might be in severe trouble.

I haven't watched FUMUFFO yet, but I do remember those incidents from the manga, especially the bike chase to get the homework and Sousuke continually being all "I don't know what's wrong with me" before they realize he has a fever. Chidori also realizes how masculine he is from holding on to him on the bike (hee!).

Would you like me to spoiler cut for FUMOFFU then? But yes, that bit with the bike was adorable. She is so far gone. :P

Nah, I've already read the episode summaries for it and I prefer to be spoiled for anime lest someone I'm attached to dies hideously and unexpectedly before my eyes.

Heeee. That is definitely too true. Some of the things I like tend to take a downright Darwninian turn by the end.

I'm glad you're enjoying Full Metal Panic: FUMOFFU. It's my fave out of the FMP series out currently. It has action, but it's not as serious as the first season and FMP:TSR, well it's really not serious at all.

My brain is still trying to react to last night's VM. L/V dance was to die for!! Though I kinda wanted Logan to be completely honest with Gina...wait no what we got was much better.

I think Logan being honest with Gia would have been an excercise in futility as her brain cells wouldn't have processed anything anyway. As to L/V? Yeah...

And FUMOFFU is adorable and hilarious and PERFECT.
