Awwwwness all around

Awwww. I watched the FMP three-parter and it ws good and angsty and everything, but the best thing, the thing that made me melt and turn into goo and make my voice go three octaves up, is the very last scene of the last part of the three-parter, where, after the hell of the battle, which Sousuke won only because he was the only one left alive, and after his co-fighters all died and after he had to kill the one survivor of his guerilla days, Sousuke shows up, dog tired, back at his apartment and he sees Kaname sitting asleep in front of his door, waiting for him. And he just slides down next to her, and kinda slumps, and she still half asleep, puts her head on his shoulder, and then softly goes "say something" and he replies, quietly, "no problem" and they just sit like this, and it's the most adorable thing I've ever seen.



Also, I've been watching Lamhe, and Sridevi is adorable, totally girl-crush worthy. And I thought I'd never say this, but I am kinda finding Anil really appealing and romantic in this one. Of course, he's always been a good actor, but at the end, when he tells Sridevi he loves her FOR HER is...guuuuh. The ending overall? Mmmmmmmm. So romantic and perfect.

I loved the ending of Lamhe and had tears in my eyes when Anil told Sridevi that he loved her. Awww!

Though she's been in some real stinkers, I've really liked Sridevi in the few films I've seen by her.

Oh yes. So good. Sridevi is one of those rare actresses I really love (I am generally more of an actor girl myself). I haven't seen all the movie yet, I just watched the beginning and the end. The rest (hopefully) today, but it's so good.

You ought to check out the manga, which has really good artwork. The kids all look a little older than the anime makes them look, but it's a really great manga. I always think the manga is better than the anime (I've never run into a series to prove me wrong), but because FMP's manga story line was broken up for the series, they both work in their own way.

Hmmmm, I will. Btw, question about FUMOFFU (as my TSR is still in the mail). I know it's not second season (TSR is that), so is it set in between the two, or is it just all the school hijinks they didn't put in during FMP, or what?

It's the school hijinks that were supposed to happen in the First Raid, but they work on an independent story line.

Yes, but it works so independently of the main action that it doesn't really matter.
