Why Why Love owns me

I finished Why Why Love in a total crying/grinning blur. Such angst (did they really need to compensate for the fact that it was relatively light until late in? This is a story with exchange coupons, racing, and college, not Vic Zhou's Silence, thank you very much) but ending on such sweetness.

Huo Da/Jia Di are such scarily awesome OTP.

The one thing I loved that even in the middle of the typically melodramatic drama cliche of 'break her heart and push her away to save her,' it felt really somehow real: the friends' anger and confusion, Xiao Di somehow characteristically plucky even in heart hear-break, and Huo Da is just so young and desperate.

My scene was the fake proposal. When he gets the ring out and the shining look on Jia Di's face and he is thinking of what he'd really like to say (which is a mushy, awesome ILY/proposal mix) but instead throws the ring away and does the whole 'I tried, I can't, I don't want to be with you but with Yan Shu' speech. And she ju,ps after the ring, OMG. And his brother (Huo Yan is so made of awesome) is telling him to come to his senses and oh. And then he is inside with Yan Shu (who is the only one who knows the truth) and he starts crying. And then he sort of collects himself with an effort and is 'I hope I am going to hell.' Awwwww. Woobies.

OMG I am super lame and I need to be spoiled on the ending of WWL. What happened? I love Huo Yan coz despite being HOT he's just so awesome and nice and guuuuuuuuuuuuh. But I also adore Huo Da coz bad boys are so my fictional kinks. URGH. So who did Huo Da end up with - I am up to ep 5 or so, and I see that Huo Da is liking Jia Di but he is also a bit torn for Yan Shu. Personally I am rooting for Huo Yan and Jia Di but I can also imagine Jia Di with Huo Da coz they are so cute and made for each other. Please tell me this is a happy ending. I hate it when my fave doramas end in either death or suicide or sibling rivalry >_>

Huo Da and Jia Di end up together. Huo Yan sorts out his mother and dad issues and is happy. Even Yan Shu is better off.
