I think I have been infected by
filmi_girl's 'song of the day' posts (btw, if you love Bollywood, check out her LJ).
But I couldn't resist posting this. This is Rishi Kapoor from Laila Majnu, a movie I am dying to get my hands on, as I am interested how he plays the intense star-crossed lover as he usually played sweet, light-hearted guys.
I've been on a bit of Rishi kick since Bobby (OMG, so adorable!!! I want to be like that batty auntie and pinch his cheeks. If I were a teenage girl, I'd probably crush on him, but I am a little too old to crush on an 18 year old :P) But anyway, here is my more shameful and secret reason why I want this:
I don't normally apply the words 'smoking hot' to Rishi. Adorable, or super adorable, or irresistably cute. Yes. Hot? No. But here? HOT.
Yes, I am that shallow.
(Plus, the angstorama that is the Laila Majnu story always appealed to me).
ETA: It is Kim Sam Soon that won. I'll be taking it with me to Thanksgiving.
