Saw Lust, Caution tonight.

Whoa.

Whoa.

It was an excellent movie, and we have been discussing it for hours. It has more layers than an onion and is amazingly written, directed, and acted. Like all of Ang Lee's movies, it is about the silences between words, and pauses between glances.

It is also the most explicit non-porn movie I've ever seen. The only part of the lead actress' body we did not see was the labia, and I could have gone my whole life without seeing Tony Leung's 'two veg.'

You really needed the sex scenes in there though. But still, it could be used as an abstinence video. It could put one off sex for life.

i really thought Lust, Caution was a great movie. and yes, i do think the sex scenes were vital, there was so much psychoanalysis to do when they were having sex.

i still think tony leung is a brilliant actor. except i will need to see movies where he has clothes on. and he has to start sending me flowers every month for me not to reel in horror everytime i'd close my eyes.

I have been waiting for this film forever! I really need to see this since I completely worship at the temple of Tony Leung...

aint that true! This movie is so much more than the much talked about controversial sex scenes but like catdecember I will forever be traumatized by what I saw of Tony Leung. He really is a great actor.

True the sex scenes are vital to the film, I dont think we will get to see its complexity and essence if those were edited out.
