Finally bought a flat-screen tw (26") yesterday and you know how I am inaugurating it?

By watching Nodame Cantabile.

Barely first ten minutes into first ep and I think this is going into my Top 10 dramas ever.

SO GOOD. Classica music, and gorgeous young man, and angst and funniness. And intercutting.

Plus, Tamaki Hisroshi looks even BETTER on flat screen :)

(I'd be watching Kim Sam soon but am waiting to do another evening of it with tatterpunk).

I've been a bit off dramas for a bit (I am sure you noticed) but I think this just might get me back 'on.'

Nodame sucks you in in the first 30 seconds and eats you alive until you finish it.

I would have been posting for every ep when I watched it, except that would have meant stopping watching.

I'm in the middle of watching Nodame Cantabile myself, and I'm loving it. I completely agree that it sucks you in and won't let you go. ::ignores the pile of lessons plans which has been neglected because of this drama::

Btw, are you watching on fansubs or the Malaysian whatever DVD or what? The DVDs I have have a couple of translation errors and one that may leave you really confused as it's a crucial plot point. The context might make you realize the error but if not, you'll be going "Huh?" for a moment.

We have a flat screen, too. Now I am tempted to go watch Tamaki Hiroshi on it. Maaaaan.

It didn't suck me in as fast as it sucked you in but regardless, it *is* so good.

Yup, Malaysian dvds. What is the mistake?

I finished NC. It was a fast watch and I really had fun. Less angst than I'd like and more classical music, but overall a lot of fun.

Stresemann tells Nodame "You can be with Chiaki", obviously the meaning here is "You CAN'T be with Chiaki".
