Pretty much the most perfect Secret Garden MV ever

I think if I had to pick, Secret Garden, the story of a plucky stuntwoman rescuing her traumatized but caustic ice prince, is probably my favorite romantic kdrama ever. It just works for me on every level (and if a drama exists that will make me cry more than ep 17 of SG did, I don't want to know it).

So imagine my delight when I found this amazing amazing unspoilery MV that is pretty much perfect:

I have stayed away from SG because of the wicked mom storyline, but darn it, you went and wet my appetite for a good kdrama and now I'm going to have to marathon it and ff the angry mom portions.

Hyun Bin, come back soon. I can't wait 'til his post military service comeback drama is announced. I know repeats are against the norm, but how about KSA or HJW as the female lead? Just wishing and hoping and praying!

BTW, I enjoyed seeing my forever Dr. Jang Bin from Faith in the MV. I miss him on screen.

Actually, evil Mom is a very small part of the storyline so you can easily skip it.

She really is a small part. And after watching a blooper in the ending credits where the actress started crying because her character was so mean - it was forever impossible to take her seriously as evil. ;)

Secret Garden is definitely the most epically romantic kdrama ever. Next to Queen In-Hyun's Man - though that one's more sweetly swoony than "romantic", I think.

SG is one of the very few dramas I rewatched. So perfect. I think I know what I am doing with my time if Frankenstorm hits :)

It does and it is normally a trope I hate, but here it is a very minor part of the plot.

I forgot how cute they were. Although I was not in love with the show, I did enjoy it. It brought back nice memories. I might even rewatch soon. I was in Korea shortly after and everywhere, on the buses, streets, in the cafe shops, they were playing the music from Secret Garden, I could hum along. It was a cool experience.
