Nice Guy - episode 13

What strikes me about NG isn't any of its big moments, but the general vibe - in a way, it's almost a mood piece. I feel drawn into its world with almost a dreamlike intensity.
What strikes me about this episode is (a) how nonexistent JH is for Maru - he doesn't even hate her any more, she is only relevant to him insofar she affects EG. What a change.
But above all these two scenes stand out for me - one happy and mundane, and one angsty and dramatic. And yet, throughout it all, you sense how much Maru/Eun Gi belong together, how happy they make each other despite the various swords of Damocles over them (not to mention how wonderful it is to see Maru love and care for someone who loves and cares back). That is why the final scene is such a punch in the gut. Please tell me her forgetting everything is temporary.

His deadly "get out" (and the words in Korean hold even more contempt than that expressed in the translation) was so much more effective than any screaming or shouting.
Please tell me her forgetting everything is temporary.
*sigh* That's actually not what's heartbreaking in episode 14. But I'll let you watch on your own.
He wanted to take her on another date. *sighsighsigh* Why are the mundane things, the things we take for granted so d@mn elusive for my lovely, lovely couple...

I really appreciate how Nice Guy doesn't take just one trope and beat it to death. Instead, it keeps taking us around new twists and turns, many unforeseen.

I really like Jae-gil and Choco now that they don't feel like they're in their own sub-drama, that scene with Secretary Hyun going She-Hulk on them (+1000 points for Avengers reference, Choco!) was comedy gold. Poor woman needs a change from looking perpetually worried, lol
