I've enjoyed the first two eps of AGD, really liked the next two, but with this week, I've become AGD's slavering slave.

I wonder if the reason I love this so much, while not being keen on most romcoms, is that I am ahjumma and this is an ahjumma romcom - cross-dressing teen nuns are pretty far from my life, but 30+/40+ professionals, not so much. Or maybe it's Jang Dong Gun's chest.

Behind the cut, with not too much meta (because how many words does perfection need?) are some of my favorite moments...

This scene was so funny, cute, adorable and so ridiculously sexy, I had no words. Classic screwball hijinks (and honestly, so much of how good this is is due to the chops of JDG and KHN - they really remind me of classic screwball couples) lead to this. "You know I love you, right?" Oh, cheeky, cheeky Do Jin. My admiration of Yi Soo's self-restraint knows no bounds - I would have pounced and instantly moved this drama into X-rated territory. I mean, the shower is right there, and saving water is important! Seriously, the chemistry, it burns!

Lest you think I am only about Do Jin/Yi Soo, I continue adoring the delicate push-pull between Maeri and Yoon. This scene - perfect. I do wish he'd respond actively to her open love - we (and Do Jin) know he loves her, but Maeri doesn't! Luckily, he seemed jealous of Colin in this ep, so maybe jealousy will make him come out of his shell.

Ohhhh, the scene with the shoes! Is it me, or does Do Jin kneel to her a lot? I loved that she told him you can't buy someone you like a present worth more than $100. So he bought her $1400 shoes on a 14-month installment plan. You know, I am clear-eyed enough to know Do Jin is not the ideal boyfriend/husband material - he has more miles on him than a band tour bus, and he's very quirky. But damn, when he does things like that (and I am not even talking about her photo in her wallet and other things), I can't help but swoon. And I love that whatever his flaws, he, like all writer Kim's heroes, incredibly straightforward and also dedicated to wooing the heroine. When he tells her to wear these shoes when she decides to come to him...my heart!!!!

The scream-worthy kiss! She is all wrapped-up in the fact that her crush, Tae San, hugged her by mistake and to say DJ is not pleased is an understatement. So he kisses and tells her "Now a more vivid thing exists for you to worry about." OMFG!!!!!

Now in the non-shippy discussion, whose son do you think Colin is? (Because I am pretty sure he's the son of one of the four). My money is on Do Jin. There would be no point for him to be Ja Rok's - there is no dramatic tension, maybe some giggles, but that's it. Yoon seems to have been with his dead wife since they were young. I suppose he could be Tae San's though then Maeri would be his aunt and the faint flirtation would be gross. DJ makes most sense because it would be most dramatic, and if so, I wonder how it will impact his nascent relationship with Yi Soo?
