dangermousie1. I am clearing some of my drama backlog, which means I am back to Me Too, Flower, a drama I enjoyed when I watched until I got sidetracked. Just finished ep 11 and I've remembered how on-key, lovely it is when it deals with its damaged yet hopeful protagonists and their dealings with the world and each other. I've rarely seen a drama couple that fits each other and needs each other so well because of their damage. (It's like a much lighter version of Bali). And yet, I pretty much am bored with everything else in this - the business storyline, Bong Sun's sister, the shrink, the annoying Hwa Young, who seems to have borrowed crazy secondary girl's playbook from circa 2002 (I love hating a good secondary like 'let me frame your husband for rape so you'll be forced to leave him in exchange for his freedom' dude in DGCH, but HY isn't even that fun to hate and I really wish someone less cool and less of a Mousie favorite than Han Go Eun played her).
2. Not watching Dream High 2 (though will likely do a selective watch once its over) but the soompi thread is ridiculously entertaining - combo of idol actors and the fact that even as of ep 13 the OTPs are not set in stone , the flamebait is strong.
Though it looks like JB and Hyesang will be the OTP - seeing that they start out as idol and his fangirl, that's pretty much THE fangirl fantasy there. I am enough of a shoujo fan (and a fan of silly poppy bubblegum) to turn in for that (or once I am sure which OTP is the endgame. I am not big on guessing wrong). This MV does a very good job of selling them:
Oh, and this confession is ridiculously cheesy and oddly cute and the acting makes me giggle. I am sold (turn on cc for subs).
Also, apparently the synospis for ep 14 includes the following: While giving chase to [Hyesung], JB was knocked down by a fast moving truck on the road because he was trying to save a little boy who was retrieving his ball. Bwahahahahahahaha! I must watch this gem. A Choi Ji Woo melo circa 2002 called and wants its plot back :P
