Both Soo Ah and Ji Hyuk are reeling from that (incredible) kiss. Oh, darlings! I remember how giddy and scary that felt!

Hyun Soo is fast becoming my second favorite behind JH - his insecurity and worry :( He knows he let his bandmates down (though no fault of his own, but that doesn't help someone like him, with perfectionist tendencies and feeling that he has to prove himself to JH).

Can we ever have too much Ji Hyuk? I am developing a horribly age-inappropriate crush here.

Darlings and their cute embarrassment. Ah, they are so ridiculously young!

You know, much as I adore SA/JH, the core of this story to me, is the friendship between the guys (and it's one of the best things about this drama - it feels shockingly real).

This scene killed me. So gorgeously shot, so tender, so falling apart - he comes and matter-of-factly helps her and (naturally) assumes there is something between them now and she's terrified (which is understandable, committing to a relationship is a big deal, especially for someone like her, who doesn't play around) and backtracks and he's so hurt (but what kills me is how accepting he is of it, a sort of 'of course' reaction. No, JH, you are totally worth it and she does like you!) and just...I hate that these kids are hurting!

I loved loved loved this scene with HS and his little sis (like I said, he's quickly becoming a huge favorite). For one, their relationship is adorable, but this scene is also a great example how good this show is about explaining a lot with little - this little scene explains so much about HS and what drives him. You get the sense that he and JH grew up together and were best friends and he feels left behind by the friendship JH formed with BH, and when he says he learned guitar just so he could keep up and be the friend JH was proud of but it never came easily to him, the way it did to JH - ohhhh, it explains so much - the chip on his shoulder and his drive and his complicated relationship with JH (he will stand up for him in a nanosecond but also won't let him get away with the stuff the rest of them let him get away with).

Oh, JH, he's at his lowest point - he thinks Soo Ah didn't like him, they lost the contest and didn't fulfill Byung Hee's last wish etc (I find it significant he held it all together somewhat when he thought he has Soo Ah. Oh, poor darling). When he writes his resignation letter it really hurt because JH is the last thing from a quitter (also, I am confused about Korean education system - students can just quit school?)

These two are totally each other's OTP. I am not even kidding.

The dynamics of this scene were both funny and disturbing (thugs cowtowing to Do Il, lololol). Oh, and on a shallow note, I think I've been hypnotized or something. When this drama started, I didn't find Sung Joon attractive in the least, but it must be JH's sheer awesomeness because now I am finding him the hottest thing living.

When the guys fight with each other (this time all their frustration about Hyun Soo) it really feels wrong because they are each other's family. Also, I've come to the conclusion that Do Il is the glue that holds the band together - without his level-headed and quietly compassionate streak, they probably would have blown up a long time ago.

Ji Hyuk goes to call Hyun Soo, doesn't get through and all the frustrations have built to such a point that he trashes the practice room he so carefully put together.

And then on the way home he sees this. Can I take him out for a meal or something? Also, his eyes are so expressive - he so looks like a hurt puppy here! /fangirl moment.

But I love that JH is not high drama and snaps out of it and goes to see Hyun Soo. EEEE!

I ship it so hard. Pls pls drama gods! To be fair, I think Yerim ships this too :)

The gang shows up at Hyun Soo's and this scene made me so happy, it's ridiculous. Awwwww. Seriously.

I adore how Ji Hyuk tells puzzled Do Il something came up and for DI to take Woo Kyung home when he sees Soo Ah hellbent on being on the streets, looking for something. Awwwwww, black knight! I love that his taking care of her isn't dependent on her loving him or hopes of same. It's just who he is.

Soo Ah is frantically digging through the garbage in the convenience store because she thinks her iPod with Ji Hyuk singing is on there. And then who's there but Ji Hyuk (being, as ever, practical, by overturning the bin for easier looking).

He asks her if she's this upset because the song was Seung Hoon's song and she answers no, that's not it, it's "because it was your voice." I think I am officially dead now. Or maybe not, because I actually do die when he unzips his jacket, and wipes her garbage-filthy hands on his white shirt. Holy frell. Seriously. Is this thing done by my id? (And I love that she tells him not to. Ah, darlings!)

And he tells her they should go home, and he can just sing the song to her.

Go for the drummer, seriously! I am going to wear out my vocal chords screaming that at the screen!

He sings to her. How do they get more amazing, how?

They hear an agency wants to sign them due to that video of their performance where JH pulled HS into a hug due to all the blood becoming a big viral hit. I love seeing them happy.

Stop being a teasing biotch, drama! Seriously :)

And then it turns out the agency only wants Ji Hyuk and Hyun Soo (ahhh, the lure of boylove fanservice brings all the agencies to the yard). And Ji Hyuk politely but pointedly tears the contract as the most delicious fuck-you ever. (Honestly, what did the ladyboss think? The whole video that made them popular pretty much showed that JH puts his friends above all).

I need ep 8 now!!!!!!!!
