Leads of Rooftop Prince are cast
Jan. 18th, 2012 08:00 amAnd they are Yoochun and Han Ji Min. YESSSSSSS!
For those who don't know, RP is an upcoming drama about a prince who loses his beloved to death. Unlike the typical kdrama hero who'd weep an ocean and drown in those tears, the prince catapults himself and his followers into the future somehow to look for her reincarnation. And that's where they bump into doppelganger (and possibly reincarnation) HJM.
This sounds INSANE. I want it!
I am also happy with the leads cast. Yoochun is a rare idol-turned-actor who I like (SKKS is one of my all-time favorites and Miss Ripley was fascinating, if flawed) and Han Ji Min can do no wrong. Dramabeans pointed out there is a four-year-difference there, but much as noona romances annoy me on principle (a) four years is nothing in either direction, imo, especially since neither party is 20 and (b) the actors both look their age - i.e., close enough in age for it not to matter. It would be another thing if HJM looked older than her years or Yoochun younger.
Anyway, hooray!
