This ep pretty much reinforced to me that Chi Soo is (a) young (b) has no idea how to interact normally. I wonder what is with that household - Mom absent, Dad dotes on him to unreasonable degree. I am sure that the fact that everyone fawns on him either because of looks or money doesn't help.

Anyway, he clearly wants to express condolences to Eun Bi but he has no idea how. He asks his father's secretary who says a money envelope and I begin to see why he is such an alien. I love how she throws the money in his face and walks off. And I love that he's clueless as to why.

And we get this again - he tries to protect her from hoodlums by buying them cigarettes (little knowing she could take care of them :P) but he is not supposed to buy them cigs and she has a justified fit.

He tries his patented "seduction-fluster" thing but she turns the tables on him, grabbing him (and look at his face - he really is flustered so much himself, ultimately he really is a high schooler) and faking out she will kiss him and then telling him "high school kid, if you want to pick me up, you are going to have to try better lines." LOL

You know, he spends all of this ep fixating on her because he just doesn't get her and because he's been thwarted the first time ever but also because he's getting genuinely involved.

Love this contrast - Chi Soo being his icy solipsistic self and Ba Wool being comforting. Go for Ba Wool, girl! (I love that ballerina is not in love with CS, just pragmatic to know he's useful).
