dangermousieSo, I finished the final episode of Bu Bu Jing Xin (it has been leaked).
I think I want to die now.
I seriously spent all of the episode bawling my eyes out. But Ruoxi died! And she didn't even get to see Four before her death as she wanted because her letter was in an envelope with 14's handwriting so Four just stuck it somewhere, not realizing it was from her. So she basically died believing he didn't even want to bother seeing her before death.
And the scene where Four finds out she's dead and he goes looking for that letter and tears open the envelope, to see the envelope with her handwriting inside and just starts bawling...
I am not even going to talk about 13's and Eight's deaths because DNW DNW DNW.
And Four dying, all alone, seeing Ruoxi dancing for him in his memories.
Fuuuuuuuuck.
And Ruoxi (cannot remember her modern name) being back in modern time and reading of the horrible fates of all the people she loved and not being able to do anything.
And the ending omfg. I cannot decide whether it's as bleak as the ending in the book. Yeah, I think it is. Because she goes to a Qing Dynasty exhibit and sees portraits of all the people she loved. And then she hears footsteps and looks up and there is Four (his modern-day version, of course) and she stares, still crying, so he walks up to her and asks "Have we met before?" (I believe). Bawl Bawl Bawl Bawl. And she doesn't reply, she just keeps crying, and he walks off and leaves, as she takes off her glasses and his image blurs. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK. This is awful. My heart is broken.
OK, self, think cheery things - puppies, kittens, rainbows.
Fuck. I am crying again.
