Crow crow tasty crow. What tastes like crow?

That's me (only less guy-like and Korean :P) because, for the second time in a couple of months my meal consists of crow crow crow crow.

Being in need of something to watch that was not an angsty period drama and that had a large number of episodes subbed, I remembered I had My Girlfriend is a Gumiho lying around. Now, you have to realize that when it was first was airing, I watched the first four episodes, disliked them intensely, and put it aside, seemingly for good.

Yet, here we are. This time, remembering the advice of some of the flisties, I started with ep 5 because that is where it is supposed to get good.

And.........

I ADORE IT!!!!!!! I am not sure whether this is because they were correct that it all gets good with ep 5 (which makes sense - e.g. I adore My Girl, but the first few eps of it don't really register strongly with me), whether because this time I knew what to expect and what not to (I think my initial impressions were hampered by the fact that the only gumiho drama I watched was Nine Taled Fox and that was pretty much melo-action drama with the highest body count outside of Shakespeare), or maybe because I am in a different mood than I was when I checked it out years ago. I am sure, some of each one of these. Plus, I am sure that another thing that played a role is that I always like dramas better when I can marathon and selectively ff, which is something I cannot really do with airing dramas.

Anyway, in the middle of ep 5 and so freaking adorable! I love Miho! And I love Woong! And I love the cooky story!

Between this and my deciding You're Beautiful was cute when I rewatched a lot of it a couple months or so back, my Hong Sisters-related crow is reaching beyond acceptable limits :P

Though I shall retain shreds of my dignity by asserting nothing will make me change my mind on Best Love :P Joking aside, it is true, because unlike with YAB and Gumiho, I was not annoyed with it; nor did I have problems with character tropes. No, I thought it was well-written and well-acted but not my type of thing. The same I thought and still think of Fantasy Couple.

Anyway, got to go and eat crow marathon my new obsession...
