My favorite part was that she initiated the hug (it even took him a second to respond, he was in so much shock) and my second favorite was when she was about to end the hug and he begged her to stay like this a moment longer.
I find it so telling that what really melted her wasn't even his marriage proposal or even the fact that when she rejected him he showed up to the gisaeng house, with the biggest freaking rock ever, and repeated it, but that he so thoroughly apologized to her, admitted it was his fault and he was wrong. Because the initial proposal can be seen as an impulse 'must have it my way' - sort of almost against his will (he tells her 'you win.'), but the second time is obviously even more premeditated and vibe is different and the apology means he's putting her above all and is sincere 100%. That's the thing about Damo - he is a quick learner and changes. When Saran told him earlier he only thinks about his side of the story, his reaction wasn't to bristle at her but to ask her what he should do (sincerely, not snarkily).
Of course, I also loved that Saran told him they aren't fated and she is not getting married to him, and she won't leave the gisaeng house with him because she's afraid of getting badly hurt again if she falls for him again. And that he's sincere now but he'd get bored quickly and leave her again, and she is just a toy for him and to please find a new toy. Damo caused a lot of damage to her and so should work hard and long to win her back, IMO. You can do it, rich boy!
Gisaeng is such an odd duck for me - usually I either love the whole drama or am bored by whole. Here, I skip most storylines entirely, bu am so obsessed with Damo and Saran that the former fact doesn't bother me.
