dangermousie | The Adjustment Bureau

Mr Mousie and I just returned from watching The Adjustment Bureau (with Matt Damon and Emily Blunt) and I loved it. It was smart and incredibly romantic. It's the latter that shocked me - there are plenty of smart Hollywood movies but very few recent ones I find in the least romantic. They are almost never able to convince me that yes, this is true love, worth throwing away everything for, and that it matters that much. TAB did.

Probably a lot more optimistic than the original Philip K. Dick story, too.
