A couple more thoughts on JW's accident which we know next to nothing about (merely my speculation, no spoilers)
I am glad some soompiers are sharing my view and are puzzled about what kind of an elevator accident would (a) get someone killed and (b) get someone else so f-ed up that he'd get depressed, not talk, need meds, and then forget it out of sheer self-preservation. I mean - huh? As someone pointed out, for that level of trauma, you'd need a kidnapping + torture + being buried alive in a box underground. Sadly, this not being the drama made by IRIS/Lobbyist/Swallow the Sun writers, likelihood of that is remote so I am left to wonder whether I don't have enough imagination to imagine a horrible enough elevator scenario or JW is N1 drama queen of Korea.
I have to say, now that it's confirmed it was RI's father who rescued JW from the big scary elevator (and presumably got killed in the process), I love JW/RI even more. I think coincidence is a powerful narrative devise when used right and here it is - it makes sense that RI's Dad swapped JW and RI's bodies then - if you think about it, that's dragging someone into some messy crazy stuff. But if he saved JW's life, then JW pretty much owes him so he will feel better about doing it. Also, remember when he was asking JW is his body is healthy? Obviously in part to make sure he wasn't swapping his daughter with someone who has a month to live, but also because last time he saw him, he was not in the best of shape likely, so checking for aftereffects. Also, remember the photo frowning back when it 'saw' JW looking? Back then I just thought Daddy didn't like some rich neurotic sniffing after his daughter but if he rescued JW and died because of it, yeah it makes even more sense. Plus, if JW falls for RI and marries her, in a sense he's replacing RI's Dad in taking care of her and loving her (I don't mean it in a gross way - but now there will be a replacement person in her life, though obviously in a different capacity).
Final thought - the swap seems to be set to specifically make Ra Im miss Dark Blood audition. But why? Does Daddy know that if she participates she'll be horribly harmed? I bet so. But JW mow arranged for her to have another chance, so I bet she'll be hired anyway and injured badly and then when AY's vision about JW driving with unconscious RI and crying is going to come to pass.
