If you have no idea what I am talking about :D Shahrukh Khan and Kajol are Bollywood superstars who’ve made five movies together (all huge hits) but none since 2001. They are also my ALL TIME FAVORITE on screen pairing. In any media, any movie industry. It’s just…

I mean…

My GOD.

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is my favorite Bollywood movie ever. ‘Suraj Hua Maddam’ from Kabhi Khushi Kabie Gham is the sexiest, most swoony musical number ever made. Their reunion in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai makes me cry. As much as their dance in the pavillion makes me faint from the sexiness. (I adored them in Baazigar and Karan Arjun as well, but those, their earliest movies together, aren’t as purely awesome on cosmic scale). They have the best chemistry and they make me laugh and cry and swoooooon and they are what got me into Bollywood and they haven’t made a movie together since 2001 (she took time off to have a baby and only came back last year) and OMG OMG OMG.

The cherry on top of this sundae? It’s going to be a Karan Johar movie. I happen to really like his stuff, think he does awesome musical numbers and brings out SRK/Kadz chemistry wonderfully (he did K3G and KKHH after all). The story is rumored to be about Indian couple coping with aftermath of 9/11 and I have no idea if he can handle the topic (his previous ones have been very very fluffy mainstream) but I DON’T CARE.

It’s Shahrukh. And Kajol. TOGETHER.

This is wonderful news!!!!! I hope the movie will be good, but I don't really care one way or another, since it's enough that Shahrukh and Kajol are making another movie together. EEEEEEE!

I heard the news a few days ago. My reaction, in three points:

I can't wait until the movie(my sister and I have been squealing soo much about this!!) Mixed feelings here - something tells me I won't like the movie (there's always something about KJo movies that rubs me the wrong way), though I will absolutely love the jodi in it.

I like KJo (but then you know it) but I have my doubts about the storyline. But hey, I always find his movies very entertaining and the bottom line is I'd watch a RGV movie about paint thinner if it meant Kajol/SRK back together.
