Everything is better with zombies!

dangermousieAfter watching ep 1 of Chinese Paladin 3 a month or so ago, I enjoyed it but sort of forgot it. It's quite different after ep 2 - nobody informed me that my crush Wallace Huo plays the world's sexiest zombie hunter.
Yes. Zombie hunter! CP3's current resident threat is ZOMBIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How could I not love?
Things I know after watching 2 eps/credits:
* Wallace Huo = LOVE. He is a monk zombie hunter super martial artist who gets his own angsty OTP. Bring it on, baby!
I ship them already and I haven't even met her yet. I can sense shippy angst from 10 km away. Please tell me she is some sort of a courtesan - she is certainly dressed like one.
* Hu Ge is a greedy/not too brave pawn shop employee. He makes me like a character I'd normally want to drown. Plus, I am secure in the knowledge that since this is a Hu Ge drama, eventually he is going to slaughter hordes of enemies with his sword and angst like mad.
* Yang Mi is gorgeous. She plays a spoiled Miss of a rich household but I don't mind because she is funny, adorable, and very filial. I can't blame a girl for being a bit of a drama queen, being one myself. She has seriously weird things going on with her hair - I don't mean she has a bad haircut, but the whole thing with her hair falling out every fall and growing really long in the spring - is she supposed to be some sort of a Persephone-like personification of nature?
* Yuan Hong guest-stars.
* ZOMBIES.
Anyway, on to what me so gleeful in ep 2 in cap form:

This is how the world's sexiest zombie hunter is introduced. Oh yeah.
He saves ourzeroes heroes from zombies and is a bit single-minded about his mission.
Did I mention single-minded? (Ok, who am I kidding, it's just I crack up every time they mention zombies)
Bwahahahahahaha Hu Ge, getting straight to the point (seriously - I don't know how he does it - normally I'd hate this character type, but I adore him here). He's kinda like Xander from Buffy :)
He is supposed to be solving the zombie problem but I am getting distracted by his prettiness. Marry me, Zombie Hunter!
Ooooh, could they be creating competition for the Hu Ge/Yang Mi ship? That would be bad as nobody is allowed to make Hu Ge unhappy and also awesome Zombie Hunter deserves a girl of his own. Luckily I know this goes nowhere due to lack of interest on Zombie Hunter's part and Yang Mi's sole interest being out of vanity/dutifulness combo.
Geee, do you think the guys with evil beard, eyepatch, and/or shifty expression are the ones behind all the evil activities? Could it be? Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Never!
Have some pretty pretty Hu Ge.
This whole sequence cracked me up. Zombie Hunter may have fearsome skills but he's so unused to being out of his monastery he's sort of like an alien without his spaceship dropped in the middle of a crowd :)
He is polite but totally puzzled by the point of the gambling hall - his skills enable him to always guess how dice games will turn out anyway.

And then she tries to propose marriage and he points out she is not interested for herself but only because that's what her Grandpa wishes. And then he falls alseep. ILY, Zombie Hunter.
