I think this was the most romantic thing I've seen in months.

So now Yoon Hee is a girl crossdressing as a boy crossdressing as a girl, to save Sun Joon. Is anyone else's head spinning? She is so incredibly gorgeous in the courtesan outfit. No wonder Sun Joon is struck dumb (this whole sequence, in the dark, where they have to converse in whispers, has the feeling of unreality, of a fairytale).

And they have to pretend to be making out to fool the soldiers.

Sun Joon, you clueless darling. He is all "why is my heart pounding when my bestest male buddy looks at me?"

And then all he can do is stare at her lips.

She finds the incriminating account book he found but dropped and gives it to him and his hand is shaking when he is reaching for it. OMG. She asks him about it and I want to scream for them to MAKE OUT NOW NOW NOW BEFORE I EXPIRE.

They are escaping across a wall and she is a bit scared to jump.

If this isn't a face of a man in love, I don't know what is.

*melted and gone into a puddle on floor*

And then you can see him freak out and withdraw his hand.

But as she jumps, he catches her anyway, and they both freeze.

On the run and hiding.

Woobies!

And then they realize they are still holding hands and let go really quickly.

And then he asks her if she dressed this way and came to help him out of pity and before she can answer, he says what I have in the cut above. I just love it, because bringing up her help to him, which was clearly not done out of pity or condescension but because she cares for him, is the best way to show her that his actions of hidden stipend were for the same reason. But I love that he apologizes anyway. OMG. And

seven_trees was right, SJ never had a friend befre YH. Awwww.

And she can't be angry at him, not after that confession - she never really was angry to start with - it was just a convenient way to push back her feelings - because loving him in their situation (he doesn't even know she is a girl!) is about as hopeless as it can get. I love that she calls him a jerk and tells him she was fighting her feelings so hard and starts crying.

And he really wants to touch her but doesn't dare.

But then he grabs her shoulder and tells her it's all his fault so "he" should stop crying. Oh, Sun Joon, if you don't realize after this that she is a girl, you really are insane and insanely sheltered.
