The Outsiders ramble
Jul. 3rd, 2007 11:30 pmOMG OMG OMG.
Did Yu Yen just slit her wrists????? Took off the necklace that Ah Hao have her, all these years ago, held it in her hand and slit her wrists????
OMG.
I hate Mainland Girl. She went to meet Yu Yen, ostensibly to try to help the OTP though their problems, but I am sorry, no one can say something like 'but he loves only you, even when we had sex, he kept calling me by your name' and not realize that this is not reconciliation tactic.
WTF.
DIE.
And she is all to Ah Hao and Hong Do and Ah Qi 'I just went to help' and doesn't mention what she said and I love how Ah Hao just runs off in the middle of her sentence, looking for Yu Yen. But they miss each other and...
argh!!!
OMG OMG And Danzi finds her and gets her to the hospital but they can't reach Ah Hao because his cell is out of power and then he finds out and runs to the hospital and OMG OMG OMG OMG. Danzi hits him. And again. OMG. And Ah Hao tells him that he can hit him as many times as he likes, but before he does, can he please tell him Yu Yen's condition? *dies*
And OMG OMG OMG, the confrontation between Danzi and Ah Hao finally happens when Danzi yells 'do you know how much blood she lost?' and yells that she was holding his pendant in her hand as she tried to kill herself and then as Ah Hao starts falling apart, Danzi asks him, savagely, 'does your heart hurt?' and continues that (and Ah Qi and Hong Do brace for it) that he he (Danzi) knew things would be like this, he would have fought for her. And he continues that yes, he loves her (OMG, Ah Hao's face) but he knew she loved Ah Hao so he respected her decision. And then yells 'but what have you given her? A fine upper class girl who was a pianist? You insisted on dragging her down with you' and then adds 'if you did, then at least be nice to her once you did it.' And adds, with utter conviction, that once YY is well, if she agrees, he will take her away from Ah Hao and 'this miserable place.'
OMG.
My heart just broke for everyone. The best friends, and the OTP and everything. And it kills me that at the end of it all, all Ah Hao does is ask quietly and humbly, 'Danzi, can I see her?' OMG. Like he has no rights any more.
And then he is by her bedside and she is unconscious, and he is holding her hand and sobbing that he'd rather die than live in a world without her, and that every injury to her hurts him immesurably but that every one of her injuries and hurts is his fault (and clearly he can't stand it). And he is all 'I am such a coward' etc etc and OMG. He says she is what keeps him going and...seriously.
Am incoherent mess.
You know what TO makes me think of? How horrible it is to live the great 'epic' romance. It's fun to watch/read or what not, but for participants it must be hell.
And then he steps out for only a couple of hours, because he must (and he spent the whole day/night there) but she doesn't know about what he said or the time he spent there, she wakes up and he's not there and it's the final straw and she asks Danzi to take her away OMG OMG and so when Ah Hao comes back she is gone OMG OMG and he says she is safer with Danzi and...
bawl.
Also, I just found this The Outsiders II MV and now I must get it. I will try to get is subbed but if not, I am watching it raw, I don't care. Because it looks beyond awesome and it's twenty more episodes of my OTP and OMG when he takes her hand and she is skittish and OMG OMG.
I was going to watch Hana Kimi but am too tired.
Good night.
ETA: I lied. I am watching raw on youtube right now. God help me.

Date: 2007-07-06 12:13 am (UTC)I'm having a hard time finding the raws, which is a pity, because I think TO and TO II are best enjoyed together, rather than separately.

Date: 2007-07-04 04:14 pm (UTC)good idea on the MNIKSS front, one of my more reliable sources of mood-lifter-uppers!

Date: 2007-07-05 03:57 pm (UTC)LOL. I have unleashed the inner capping monster :D
But yeah, TO is incredibly awesome.
Re: subbing.
It's a multi-step process.
First there is just the translation. Then there is timing (so the subs match the people on screen), quality check and then voila. You create a srt file in notebook. Timing must be crazy labor intensive as you need to put into the file (e.g.) 1:48 'i love you' 1:49 'i love you too' blah blah and get it right.
