Initially friended due to VM but since you dumped that like a bad habit... possibly because it WAS... I have become strangely interested in the J AND Kdramas, even though I've NEVER WATCHED. I LOVE the picspams of the pretty people and the squeeish posts about how OMGAWESOME the shows are. And, since they appear to be shorter than American shows and actually HAVE an end, one day I may try to watch one.
They are shorter. They have a set from the beginning number of eps (usually 11-16 is most common, and 10-24 would cover 99% of all shows except historicals which tend to be 40+ eps long :D) I love the fact of beginning, middle and end.
By the way, I know stimpy from Bollywhat, also a recent Bollyfan gone dramanut, comes here in your journal for recs etc. She recently marathoned Lovers based on your mentions and liked it, though she did say there was something mildly iffy about the 2nd last episode. We meet up regularly to talk about life & Indian movie & Asian drama stuff. So keep blogging, she is counting on you.
I vote SuJu for jello fight. You can sell the jello for a high price to about a million fangirls afterwards. Jiro vs Jiros might be entertaining but the fangirls are older, less, and less nutty, so the jello would't sell as well. Economical thinking, yup.
PS. A friend pointed out that in my Super Junior intro post I used a photo set where they were all, yes, incredibly airbrushed and also wearing lipgloss. I admit I chose it merely because my favourite member looked hot in it. So it is far from being the only face of SuJu. (And really another thing is that none of them in my personal opinion are particularly hot unless you get to know their personalities behind those faces.)
You know I don't even recall what obsession I was embroiled in when I friended you...now I enjoy reading because you enjoy things and are filled with squee over them!
I think I first noticed you via another Star Wars fan's journal, and had to friend you cos you was talking Batman Begins at the time. Hells yes.
I stay because your interests are so varied - gives me a better idea of my "options" in the world of entertainment out there. Heh. I believe your ramblings (along with a couple of other f-listers) have previously been the prompt I needed to try out North and South, Roswell, and Farscape. So thank you, muchly. :)
Héhé ^^. Well first thing was all about the dramas and I have such a vivid awesome memory about your posts on Hanadan 2 anyway ^^. Plus the picspam with the pretty (I'm so easy to please XD).
I joined becuase of your many, many & hilariously detailed drama metas. Reading your blogs is second best to actually watching the shows - you bring them to life, screencaps are merely icing on the cake.
Had to vote for Pi & Maki in the jello. That would be too awesome.
(btw, I'm about half-way thru the YT of HanaKimi. Not sure what I think so far but Shun is making it very worth the while.)
The last one was pretty hard, I was having some issues choosing between Super Junior or Jiro with Jiro Clones. There was a great deal of mental anguish, but that damn adorableness of Super Junior just won out in the end. Who are you rooting for?
How come I never saw this poll?:P Ok...here are my answers:P:P Interestingly enough...I think I actually got a livejournal because of you....It's not as weird as it sounds!! When I was deciding which internt obsession to get into(ie myspace, facebook)I came across doramas and it was love:P So I went on the internet to "research" a.k.a search up half-naked pictures of hot asian males- and I stumbled on your lj. I regularly read your lj(I loved your rantings about Mars because I was watching it around the same time:P) and then you posted a bollywood post- and I was like "OMG there are people on lj who like doramas AND bollywood?" ...So I immediately joined up:P:P Hehe...so basically I read your lj because your posts are interesting and you regularly picspamm hot asian men(preferably half naked:P) 2)What do you need more of? I'd love to know more about your real life:P:P 3)Wrestle in jello? I would say Yamapi and Maki because they have so much UST-but hopefully Kurosagi:the movie will solve that:P
I really love your drama and picspam posts. :) The last question is really hard. Super Junior...13 guys in jello is sure a really strange image. I had to vote for Yamapi and Kame in jello though. XD
You gush in an intelligent fashion and your enthusiasm is infectious. You have interesting things to say about whatever book/movie/show you're into at any given time. I really enjoyed your posts on The Lives of Others and The Wind that Shakes the Barley. Your praise for the former convinced me to see it when it opened here (and I agree; it was excellent). I consider you a good source for book recs and movie recs.
I didn't know where to start among all the Georgette Heyer novels until I came across your post in the GH comm listing your faves. Thank you for that, btw! I loved Venetia. I'm glad I read that one first though, because Sherry and Hero are really trying my patience. :) I'll admit to being a little curious about The Lymond Chronicles, thanks to you.
I've come back to read your BSG posts recently, now that I'm slowly working my way through the third season. (I'm only as far as episode six, in season three, and I didn't want to spoil myself at the time you posted them.)
Did you ever finish your rewatch of Veronica Mars, season one? I can't remember.
Your hilarious liveblogging for HYD2 really started it for me:) It's also great that your interests are so diverse... thanks for all the entertainment thus far!
I found you through Bollywhat way back when and you and a few other Bollywhaters were the people that made me start my my own Livejournal.
I like your picspams, and your enthusiasm over the the things you like. And you and scottishlass are the people that got me first interested and later addicted to doramas by recommending Mars to me. So, thank you for that :).
I had a hard time with the last question, but Jiro and his clones won, because I've just been watching the Taiwanese version of HK...
BTW, I need your address if you still want me to send the F4 DVDs to you. You can use the address on my profile - I check that at least daily.

VMS1: No, I got sidetracked. really should though.
