Though how I can both adore an OTP and wish they never met, is a mistery.
How Yu Yen has changed in these four years. She is now a tough mob boss missus. But the thing is, that core of steel was in her, always. I keep thinking of her telling Hong Do she will never be a victim again and I remember herstanding up for Ah Hao in front of the school. She always had guts (and how far Ah Hao came, from the guy who wouldn't cheat, to a mobster. But yet at core, in many ways he is also still the same).
Also? Danzi is out of jail. YAY! And it looks like he might give up the mob life and go to college. Go Danzi!
You know, if I wasn't sure before that one day Ah Hao would find out about the rape, I am now, when he thanks Danzi for getting there in time to save Yu Yen (and apologizes, he never does and he does now). OMG. I am dreading it. Because I just realized that he is also going to blame himself not just in general (for getting her into this sort of life) but because that day he didn't escort her. But hello. Ah Bao wanted to get at her, he would have anyway at some point.
Also, the subplot with mainland girls stolen by Bao is making me antsy. I don't care about any of them as I don't know them, but I already hate one by proxy, the one who ran away. Because she bumped into Ah Hao and he goes 'Yu Yen?' because she sort of looks like the prechange Yu Yen. Long hair, helpless, pure. Ironic, isn't it? He is the one who caused Yu Yen to lose it all, but now that old YY is something he wants? Fixated on? Maybe because that was YY he fell for, or because he feels guilty as he is the one who caused this loss.
Still, I am worried that the other girl will prove an interloper. Boo. Pics coming.
ETA: Oh, I am such an idiot, I watched five minutes of ep 20. I am barely typing because I am crying so hard I can't see.

My face is all swollen.
But.
OMG. Danzi is alive at the end and they are always hanging out and there is hope for them getting together some day.
So there is a good chance that in the future he and YY will get together. That is like both ships winning. That's insane. and awesome. Or would be if I didn't ship Ah Hao/Yu Yen so much and was still in trauma.
Also, like textbook 'what women want.' The wild passionate one to have a relationship with and have a baby with, and the responsible one to live with to bring the kid up. OMG. Only Danzi isn't just responsible but hot.
But omg omg omg omg I can't think or type straight because all I can think of is Ah hap dying and I knew he would but omg
i can't take it.
