Does anyone know how to do screencaps in MediaPlayer? I tried VLCPlayer screencaps, with
winterspel's tutorial but the options that appear in my preferences are different then in her tutorial so I can't figure it out. Help?

For VLC (I think these are for Windows; never tried)

Date: 2007-06-22 04:37 am (UTC)It's OK, as I have a tutorial in MPCPlayer now and I'll just use that for now (and later I can probably install/uninstall up to date VLC version). Thanks!

Date: 2007-06-22 02:55 pm (UTC)I recommend GOM player - I recently switched to it & I love it because it can handle everything I've tried playing - even the rmvb & mp4 files that some subbers use (like SUBlimes). But the best feature is it not only have a screencapture feature - it can do screencap bursts - hit the button while the video is playing & it takes 10 sequential screencaps at once - then you pick out the one you like best (where their eyes aren't half closed, etc.)
