I've just discovered the most glee-inducing thing ever.



In the summer, Korea is going to have a drama called Coffee Prince.

Starring Yoon Eun Hye (Chae-Gyung in Goong) and Gong Yoo (whom I haven't seen before but he is well known and looks hot). And it's going to be light and funny.

So, why the excitement?

Just read this!

Apparently, in the drama, Eun Hye cross-dresses as a man and ends up working in a coffee shop run by Gong Yoo. Gong Yoo has no idea Eun Hye is a girl (but assumes she is a femmy gay guy) and OMG OMG OMG gets completely overthrown when he realizes he is developing 'gay' feelings for his cute subordinate. (I am a little unclear as to whether EH is cross-dressing to escape an arranged marriage or whether Gong Yoo asks her (thinking she is a guy) to pose as his gay lover to escape said marriage, but it's one of the two).

Best part? He doesn't find out she is a girl until the very end!

It's like Hana Kimi on crack. If the love story was between Jiro and Ella (aka the girl cross-dressing and the guy falling for a 'guy.') EEEEEE!

Guy falling for cross-dressing girl and questioning his sexuality is the most bestest thing ever. It's like slash het :)

Btw, have you checked out Taiwanese drama 'Hana Kimi.' It has a somewhat similar premise: girl cross-dresses as boy to go to all-boys school. Her roommate figures out what is going on and falls for her and everyone assumes they are gay. And then there is Xiu Yi who is adorable who falls for the heroine while believing she is a guy. And the school doctor who is totally gay. It's awesome.

Yes, the Japanese version with Oguri Shun and Horihita Maki is coming out in the beginning of July.
