Chuno - My Wish List

dangermousieOnly 6 more episodes of the epic, awesome Chuno left. Here are things I'd like to happen. I'll be fine if they don't (and some of them are contradictory) but ecstatic if they do.
WANT: King Injo to die!
POSSIBILITY: Probable. This drama is set sometime between 1648-1649 and depending on where in that continuum it's set and how long it goes for, we can see Injo bite it - he died in 1649.
WANT: Dae Gil and Tae Ha come to an uneasy understanding and respect.
POSSIBILITY: Possible. Under other life paths they could have been friends and even now have a lot in common, but OTOH there is so much between them - from DG holding on to his cynicism for all he is worth to TH's reaction to someone as 'without honor' as DG to, of course, Un Nyun.
WANT: Un Nyun and Dae Gil to have a romantic scene - hand-holding or hugging will do.
POSSIBILITY: Possible. It would be cruel to not have a single romantic scene between the star-crossed pair after she's mourned him for a decade and he's searched the Peninsula for her for that long. And they clearly still love each other. But OTOH she is a married woman in love with her husband as well.
WANT: Evil Minister to die.
POSSIBILITY: Unlikely. He's too slimy and clever and high-up to die. Unless his son-in-law goes berserk.
WANT: Tae Ha and Un Nyun have a conversation about her secret - her runaway slave status and the fact that she even lied to him about her true name. And then for him not to care and tell her he knew but loves her anyway.
POSSIBILITY: Probable. Tae Ha has been shown as struggling with the revelation (not only is the class structure something ingrained in him since birth, but the fact is the first person he allowed himself to love in a decade concealed something so huge) but it's just as clear that he loves Un Nyun utterly and that he is a very good man. By the time they find each other again, I am sure it will be fine.
WANT: Chul Woong to unintentionally repay the life debt he owes to Tae Ha and then die lengthily and gruesomely.
POSSIBILITY: Probable. No way would CW willingly repay any obligation but I can see the writer making an ironic point. Dying gruesomely - less likely. Unfortunately his enemies are more likely to give him a clean death.
WANT: Meet Prince Bongrim.
POSSIBILITY: Certain. In order for Little Prince to be saved, they have to.
WANT: Tae Ha and Un Nyun to live happily ever after. Maybe with a bunch of kids who Tae Ha would actually get to hold.
POSSIBILITY: Unlikely. Have you seen this drama? All the leads will probably end up dead. Especially if they involve people who are trying to save a royal child from the evil king who wants him dead AND who are trying to foment a social revolution.
WANT: Dae Gil and Un Nyun to live happily ever after. On a farm the way DG dreamed of.
POSSIBILITY: Unlikely. See above.
WANT: Un Nyun to learn her brother died on Dae Gil's knife. Though DG didn't kill him directly.
POSSIBILITY: Unlikely. I am sure this will add drama but I can't see how it would come out - who is there to tell her? It's likely to be another moment only the viewer knows and appreciates the irony of - like the fact that Tae Ha saved Un Nyun a decade ago from the Qing.
WANT: General Choi and Little Jumo to settle down together.
POSSIBILITY: Possible. Big Jumo is out of the running, I got the sense Gen. Choi liked Little Jumo and someone deserves a happy ending and our main trio is unlikely to get one.
WANT: Dae Gil to find out his boys are alive and Tae Ha to find out his boys are alive.
POSSIBILITY: Certain. DUH!
WANT: For Un Nyun to find out how much Dae Gil searched for her and how much he loves her.
POSSIBILITY: Probable. They are bound to meet up with Sul Hwa and DG's boys and I bet one of them tells her.
WANT: For Little Prince not to be killed and have a decent life.
POSSIBILITY: Certain. Historical record.
