Be kind to the less fortunate among us - they can come back as Oh Ji Ho!

OK, Slave Hunters gave me a MAJOR case of Oh Ji Ho craving, so I decided to check out another drama with him. I have already watched Fantasy Couple (well-made but not my thing) years ago, and neither Queen of Housewives nor Single Dad in Love sounded particularly appealing atm (though the former apparently has some entertaining backstabbing, I got the feeling I would want to murder half the protagonists, and the latter at least is truth-in-advertising titled but seems remarkably cutesy).

Still, I wanted to see Oh Ji Ho in another drama, preferably one in which he doesn't get falsely convicted, branded and enslaved, and has his family killed.

And thus we come to the weirdest-titled drama I have ever come across: Get Karl! Oh Soo Jung. The title makes noooo sense but who cares when the plot sounds so potentially appealing:

Karl (Oh Ji Ho) is sexy, world-famous golfer with women throwing themselves at his feet. One of these ladies is Oh Soo Jung (Uhm Jung Hwa), a former beauty queen who is now considered an old maid and who is unabashedly materialistic - she wants and needs to land a rich man, feelings immaterial, and Karl seems perfect. Little does she know that Karl is Man Soo - the fat boyfriend she unceremoneously dumped years ago for better prospects and who is now slimmed, glam, and back for revenge - to break her heart as badly as she broke his.

Bitchy heroine, hunky hero with kdrama revenge on his mind plus golf and fatsuits? Sign me up!

In Slave Hunters news, apparently ep 3 hit over 27% ratings. That is so insane, you have no idea. And so very awesome.

It's funny, when the casting was first announced, I could never imagine why they cast three such modern actors as Jang Hyuk, Oh Ji Ho and Lee Da Hae in a period drama, but seeing them in it now, I can't imagine anyone else in their roles.
