I wonder if I am actually finally emotionally strong enough to watch Silence. I have seen the beginning and the end and it's awesome and perfect and I love the OTP but it's the only drama I ever stopped because the angst was too much. Normally, a story about a spunky mute Korean girl and an overworked young Taiwanese businessman who were in love as children and meet as adults would be so my thing. Especially when the male lead is played by the surreally gorgeous Vic Zhou. But when you add in the fact that he has terminal cancer and he is in his mid twenties and terrified...I sort of broke down and wimped out.

But this MV is so gorgeous I might restart.

You know what is weird? I forget how good-looking he is unless I look at him.

Weird.

Moreover,a bunch of drama and movie vids. They serve as much better trailers and summaries than anything I can come up with.

Oddly enough, I didn't find Silence too angsty to watch. I mean, maybe I had just prepared myself for that level of angst, but I watched all the way through and enjoyed it. I think having watched all of it makes the endin even sadder though. The OST still kills me though, especially the Harlem Yu song, it's totally perfect.

Oh, I remember thinking I'd never start watching a drama JUST because I saw an mv for them. Then I saw two QSS and The outsiders mv. And I was hooked.
BTW, have you seen White Robe of Love- it essentially has all of the people from outsiders plus the gorgeous Megan Lai (I think?) who sings the OP for Corner of Love. WRoL is quite cute and OMG Dylan Kuo as a doctor is my ultimate fantasy bf:P

Silence had way too much angst, even if you ignored the terminal cancer (as I often did). It was far too lovely, the OTP was far too perfect, and all the stuff getting in their way was just too taxing for me. The ending was spectacular (well, the last 10 minutes I forced myself to watch), the beginning was fantastic, and it should be a drama that I would adore, but I just couldn't get through it...

Might try again at a later date.

Silence wase was really angsty, but I though it should have been somewhat shorter because some of the middle parts dragged *a lot* IMO. But Vic Zhou looked gorgeous in it (Vic in suits, with perfect hair and angsting! *thud*) and I loved the OTP. ShenShen is such great character!

I LOVE that scene, so, of course I had to icon it! I'm just rewatching Mars while waiting for ProDai9 dl to finish (just finished episode 4), and I remembered it was good, but now that I've seen some more dramas, I can even better appreciate how truly awesome it really is! I strongly suspect that I might even forget ProDai for a while if I get caught on watching just one more ep (repeat a few times) more...

And now I'm watching it from DVD, too, and not through Youtube, which makes a huge difference!
