Date: 2007-05-19 09:54 pm (UTC)but I'm not 100% sure. I think the Chinese letters you mention are in Simplified Chinese and the ones in the dvd cover are in Traditional but the two first are the same, so I think it's this drama... but I could be wrong. The main actor is the same right?
they have more versions of this drama here so you can get more about the sinopsis, hopefully ;)

Date: 2007-05-21 09:24 am (UTC)i'm one of your avid readers who still hasnt gotten herself a LJ account yet!!! boo!
anyway, twin of brothers is a hong kong drama from a few years back... about 2 men and their lives. unfortunately, the plot is a bit thin on the ground, and only raymond lam's half of the plot is watchable due to the angst and him of course... the other lad is just too goody-goody two shoes who goes on constantly about 'doing the right thing'...blah...raymond lam's character is perhaps more realistic...
you have to have no problems with using the fast forward button ruthlessly and i do mean ruthlessly. note, not watching the other lad's story at all will not detract from the plot...much... :)

Date: 2007-05-22 01:14 am (UTC)Yeah, Raymond Lam is the main reason I was caught by this. The guy is gorgeous. Though seeing I have a tendency to ff through even best dramas, I should probably hold off on this.
Have you seen Lofty Waters Verdant Bow with him. Is it better? Because I do want to check him out...

Date: 2007-05-22 08:44 am (UTC)no, i have not yet had the chance to watch lofty water verdant bow yet...though it is on my list of dramas to watch...i am at the moment swamped with work, life and of course dramas...
i am watching a mainland chinese adaptation of Louis Cha's (Jin Yong) of The Semi-Gods and the Demi-Devils (or some other permutation of these words anyway :) ) and the original Japanese version of ISWAK!!!

Date: 2007-05-22 01:33 pm (UTC)How is ISWAK-Japan? I heard mixed things about it.

Date: 2007-05-23 01:30 pm (UTC)as for iswak-japan, erm, he's meaner, she's a lot more annoying, it's less fluffy...all in all, i dont think it compares too well with tw-iswak...
and oh dear god, i swear i WILL get a LJ account by next week after reading your post on sherilyn kenyon. i am at the very moment, systematically working my way through the dark-hunter series to the point of trying to skive off work so that i can get a few more pages reading done! EEEKKK!!!! i want an acheron and the simi!!!

Date: 2007-05-24 02:27 am (UTC)You are reading Dark Hunter too? They are scarily addictive and I am enjoying them a lot (though I can't take the name Zarek seriously as it's the name of a weasely if awesome politician on Battlestar Galactica). But I want a whole book about Ash now, not in 2008 :)
