Cheering a sick girl up!
Jan. 26th, 2009 10:58 amI've been feeling pretty ill for the last three days so here are things to cheer self up:
1. I really like this promo still from K-Hanadan. Looks like a fashion ad:

(Side note: I see people being super-invested in this version's Soujiro/Yuki and I don't get it. Never shipped them, except in the Taiwanese version where Ken Chu and Rainie Yang's chemistry just forced me. So it's weird to see the hyperventilation).
2. Anil Kapoor, you, Sir, are adorable! Just watch this acceptance of SAG Best Cast award. It's odd, when I first got into Bollywood, I didn't care for him at all, but the more I see of him, the more I like him - he was a great leading man and now is an awesome character actor (unlike some Bolly stalwarts who play heroes long after they should be playing the hero's father). And his excitement is so fun to watch!
3. (stolen from
timescout)
Jerry Yan has a new drama coming out, Starlit, which sounds just my thing!

He plays a pianist who loses his ability to perform after getting into an accident trying to save a girl (played by Terri Kwan) who he later falls in love with. Mmmmm....angst. Jerry Yan is an OK actor, not the world's master, but he has an unparalleled ability to look gorgeous while angsting.
Viikii has first ep up with subs.
