Thoughts on K-Hanadan ep 4

Here are my random thoughts on ep 4 of Korean Hanadan
1. I am afraid I must join all the naysayers and agree that the actor who plays Ji Hoo, gorgeous as he is, cannot act his way out of a paper bag. If that paper bag had holes already cut in it. I can so buy the friendship between the other F3, and think they are all doing awesome jobs but Ji Hoo...nope. Oh well, I was never a Rui girl in any version, so I am OK with it.
2. On the opposite end of the spectrum, Lee Min Ho, who plays Jun Pyo, is the best thing to happen to this drama. Seriously. Their casting director ought to get plaudits (and if LJ and soompi are anything to go by, also the undying gratitude of a whole bunch of ladies). His portrayal is a pitch-perfect mix of LOL and AWW. Seriously. I melt, even if I feel like a sick old lady.
3. When Kim Bum, who plays Yi Jung, had his hair swept up in that gelled hairdo? He so looked like mini Song Seung Heon, it was uncanny! I can so see why they cast him as SSH's younger self in East of Eden.
4. Speaking of hair. OMG. I love the dorky curly hair on Jun Pyo but when he actually straightened his hair for once (it took hours! LOL. I loved that Yi Jung and Woo Bin were all 'OMG, you are not doing this every day!') I think I sort of hyperventilated. Loved that whole scene though, because he put on a uniform too and I love seeing Jandi actually be touched but then the whole thing with the photos happened (and his reaction is already an improvement to his reaction to that vid of her and Ji Hoo). AWWW.
5. I loved it when they are waiting for Seo Heon to leave and she says it's good to suppress your feelings and he responds she is an idiot because if the world ended tomorrow, wouldn't she feel sad she never acted? And she tells him he might just not be a total idiot and he treats it as an enormous compliment :) Oh, and the bit where Ji Hoo leaves to chase after Seo Heon and the little moment/look that passes between Jandi and Jun Pyo. *dies* Because he knows she likes Ji Hoo but she is the one that made him chase after Seo Heon.
6. Woo Bin and Yi Jung's horrified realization that their dorky friend just actually might be dead serious about Jandi. And I love that they investigate the photos not out of some love of justice or desire to help Jandi, but because they don't want Jun Pyo to go off deep end.
7. Snow date! I love everything. I love the way he asks her out (not really a question, but a command!) I love that she thinks he couldn't possibly be stupid enough to wait for her for four hours but he is still sitting there, huddling in his coat in the snow (awwww. I bet he didn't go in anywhere because he didn't want to miss her). Though word to the wise, Jun Pyo. It might be a good idea to dismiss bodyguards or whatever to be on commoner level, but even commoners wear hats! No wonder you caught a cold. And speaking of, I love when she thinks he is making a move and starts telling him to get away before she counts to 3 and then starts doing 'two-and-a half' etc LOL. And they fall asleep together. AWWWWW :) And he puts one of the blankets back on her. SQUEE.
8. I am amused to see that in this version, just as in any other version, Jandi's parents would happily bundle her naked into Jun Pyo's bedroom, if they could contrive a way to do so. Heh!
9. The scene where she is trying to deny to the school body they are dating but he nonchalantly says they are and drags her off is LOLtastic, but I am mainly squeeful over the fact that their height difference is such they don't even fit into the same frame :)
10. SWORDS. Umm. SWORDS. Excuse me, I need to lie down. UMMM.
11. Minji is a conniving witch but I always like her. Though hint: whatever and whoever Jun Pyo might like, he is not going to go for you if you are disloyal to your friend (that's one of his buttons) and the reason he prefers Jandi? She won't weep at him and be all emo/helpless/pathetic. She'd rather punch him instead.
12. People in Shinhwa High really are horrific jerks. UGH.
13. I didn't think reckless driving could be hot but...I have no shame. But I stand by my opinion that whoever thought to give Jun Pyo is gun is insane :)
