(Because I know people get concerned about spoilers)

I am a total spoiler junkie. You can spoil it all for me, including linking me to a script of an episode and I will love you for it. (There have been a very few notable exceptions, like the Farscape Peacekeeper Wars, but then I clearly indicate so). I actively seek out spoilers, I like reading them if someone tells me some etc. However I know my flist has plenty of spoilerphobes, not to mention people who live somewhere where they might not be able to see the episodes/shows/movies right away.

So, here is my spoiler policy, open for modification upon request :)

CURRENTLY AIRING WESTERN SHOWS (e.g. Battlestar Galactica), DRAMAS, ANIME/MOVIES THAT CAME OUT RECENTLY/BOOKS IN GENERAL (unless it's Oliver Twist or similar)

SO. I will not post spoilers of any kind outside a cut, except maybe for "I liked this ep" or "I hated this ep" and such similar and purely generic indication of mood. I am not a rabid enough shipper for anything or hold such strong opinions on anything in the show that my mood would be an automatic give-away. However, if this bothers you, let me know and I will change the policy.

By spoilers of any kind I mean:

a. Discussions of eps that haven't aired yet
b. Discussions of eps that have aired within the week (or movies which have opened within the last couple of months). If they have aired more than a week/couple of months ago, I will start posting general details about the ep outside the cut, but specifics will go behind the cut. If I know someone who is a spoilerphobe has a bigger lag, I will extend the complete cutting policy until they have a chance to watch, but I might not know about that issue, so please let me know
c. Previews for shows. I know people get phobic about them

WESTERN SHOWS/ANIME/ASIAN DRAMAS/MOVIES THAT ARE OLDER

I will cut detailed spoilers but not general ones except:

a. If I know there is a spoilerphobe who plans to watch/is watching. In which case I will cut everything the way I do with current shows or whatever their preference is.
b. If I know nobody plans to watch/everybody has seen this already/nobody minds spoilers (e.g. the awful Taiwanese drama Peach Girl), I won't cut.

ONE EXCEPTION

If it's a currently airing movie/drama/show, I won't cut as much if it's based on widely known and established sources, unless someone requests. Example. I am currently watching Korean drama Boys Over Flowers. It is currently airing, but it's based on the most popular girls' manga ever (which is from 1990s), had multiple other adaptations etc. So everyone is likely to know the story already: there is no point in cutting. Thus, I won't be cutting general comments (I would cut the nitty-gritty still) unless it turns out I have a watching spoilerphobe who is unfamiliar with the story and would like to stay unspoiled on my flist.
