dangermousie | Who Are You: episodes 1-5, summary in caps

I am enjoying Who Are You, the way I haven't loved a drama in ages. It's funny, and sad, and clever, and with a twist of mystery. And I don't mean the mystery of who killed Il Gun or what happens when 49 days of ghost time are up, but more everyday, lovely mysteries: how will Young In (Go Ara, who is spectacular) cope with her life, which is something no 20-year-old should deal with? How will Seung Hyo go from a total grinch to someone who does this:

I love this drama!

Seung Hyo, our rich, young, hot and totally bastardy M&A banker, has pretty bad OCD:

He is also a total jerk to work for, being horrible to his secretary:

Seung Hyo's house is germ-phobic and much too organized. No wonder he has no relationships. That would mean exchanging bodily fluids which to his OCD is probably something horrible.

He is existing but I can't say he is really living. He makes plenty of people miserable, but the odd thing is he isn't happy himself.

Man whose factory he took over comes to kill himself in front of Seung Hyo by overdosing on pills and SH asks his secretary to bring the man some water and for the man to make it quick because he has no time.

Later, he gets egged and secretary is not displeased.

He drives off in a huff and:

Meanwhile, Il Hun has died:

Seung Hyo is in a coma and it's not looking good:

Loan sharks. I hate them. Now that Il Gun is dead, they are hounding Young In for money:

Luckily Jae Ha steps in, claiming to be a friend of Il Gun. Fishy!

Young In sees the body:

Blahblah plot, Il Gun can possess Seung Hyo's body for 3 hours each day for 49 days (and he can't be more than 3 miles away from him at any time). As an exchange (unknowing to SH), SH gets to wake up from coma and use his own body as himself for 21 hrs each day. Here is Il Gun possessing the body. YKS is awesome, playing these two very diff people.

I think whatever his nefarious goals, Jae Ha is beginning to like her:

SH as himself is at the art gallery and Young In, not surprisingly, thinks the loony is stalking her, and just as unsurprisingly, SH is not charmed by an accusing freak he's never met before.

I feel so horrible for her!

Secretary explains that SH has had a split personality disorder since his accident, so can Young In please help out.

So after a lot of hesitation, Young In agrees to his pleas to go shopping:

Il Gun-as-Seung Hyo cancels all the business meetings to buy Young In brand names :)

Ooops, the three hour limit is up and Seung Hyo comes to, in a car with the girl who was threatening him last time and no idea how he or she got there. Suffice it to say, he is not being nice.

He is trying to figure out why he is having memory lapses, and (according to his staff) personality changes.

He is still not that into you.

After an awful day at work where she didn't even get paid, Young In is almost raped by loan sharks. I don't want to get into that. It's too uncomfortable.
