Witch Yoo Hee

Am halfway into ep 2 of Witch Yoo Hee and it's awesome.

Must confess though, that I still totally hate Yoo Hee herself. She is a large part of why the show is so funny, but as a person? Yikes. As of now, is it wrong that I don't want her with any of the men in the story? I like Mo-Ryong and Johnny too much to wish her on them, and Joon Ha might not be of stellar character but is much too good-looking to suffer anyway.

Seriously. She should be a professional spinster. Or a scary prison guard. I want to smack her for her behavior half the time. The rest of the time I am rolling on the floor. :P

OTOH, I did start out thinking Shin in Goong was a (gorgeous) waste of space and waving Yul/Chae-Gyung shippy banner and ended up falling madly for Shin who ended up my favorite character, with Shin/Chae-Gyung one of my biggest OTPs, so who knows what will happen. But she better stops picking on Mo-Ryong (who is one of the most adorable, awesome drama heros ever) if she wants to be remotely in my good graces. )

P.S. Part of the reason I am not rooting for her with anyone? No one is into her. In something like ISWAK, while I didn't think Zhi Shu was adorable pumpkin in the beginning, I liked Xiang Qin and she wanted him so I wanted them to get together for her sake...

P.P.S. I take some of the above back. I just got to the 'fake date at the reunion' scene and heeeee, I've gotten to the point where I am amused and interested as to how Mo-Ryong and Yoo Hee'll hook up as they are too much of an awesome hoot to watch together and the power balance is not eally unequal. Also, you saw some glimpses of vulnerability in Yoo Hee which is always good.

I knew we were going to disagree about Yoo-Hee! I totally love her!

I predict that she is going to fall for Kim Jung Hoon who won't give her the time of day. Meanwhile, Moo-Ryong will fall for Yoo Hee and Johnny will fall for Moo-Ryong's girlfriend. Then Yoo Hee and Moo-Ryong will hook up and make me very happy!

I'm also really enjoying Moo-Ryong's brother's girlfriend! Did you see her hugging MR at the airport?! Ha ha!

Actually, I am at the 'fake date at the reunion' part now, and I've gotten to the stage where the concept of MR/YH hooking up is amusing rather than 'oh no' because it's so much fun to watch them together and he is the only one who can tease her and not wilt over her 'scariness.' But while immsensely hilarious, I still don't care for her as a person. Like her better than at the start though.

I do want her to pine for MR (if they hook up) and not vice versa (or it to be mutual) because otherwise, she's insane :P

It would be pretty amusing to see her pine for MR as he is trying to rescue his girlfriend from the studly clutches of Johnny - who is really unbelievably hot. *Fans self*

That would be pretty hilarious, though I don't think MR cares for his gf enough. As to Johnny? Seriously. He should do a naked chef show. Only in his case, literally :)
