Namaste London: Bollywood yumminess abounds...

One of the awesome things in London was the casual prevalence of Bolylwood stuff: there were adds in the tube advertising some sort of Bolly event. When we were wandering around Picadilly we found a theater showing the usual HW/UK movies and Namaste London.



And speaking of that. I am quite interested in it. It has Akshay and Katrina, both of whom I love, and London, and husband trying to win the love of his arrange-marriage wife who doesn’t love him (girl, it’s Akshay Kumar, are you mad? He’s sex on a stick), and the whole ‘she is urban Western sophisticate, he’s a guy from Punjab’ hijinks. smartylibrarian, are you still interested in seeing it this weekend? katranna, if you are in town, want to go?

hahaha. On my last day in NYC, I actually saw a tv commercial for that (my friend has a Bollywood/Indian culture & entertainment channel on her cable).

Not nearly as funny as walking by Harrods and seeing a Rain concert playing on the tv in the window display.
