lenabean, I am eternally indebted to you for pushing Snow White.
I am half an hour into the first ep and I am LOLing and swooning all over the place.
Forget the usual amusingness of the younger man/older woman thing, or the fact that he is her crush's younger brother.
She first sees him when he is kissing another woman. Who he just dumped! To distract her from causing a scene!
And later their paths cross again when she is drunk and he brings her home to sleep it off and rifles her purse and takes some money!!!
And is hot in a wife-beater. The whole Lee Wan speaking Japanese! And totally looking like a live-action Haru, with the spiky hair, and piercings and punk clothes!
OMG.
And the heroine is funny and dorky. And has total strength and used to be on shot-put team in high-school. And first met her crush (Lee Wan's older brother) when she saved him from being beaten up by goons.
LOL.
It's love.
Above all, it's love because Lee Wan won't be begging to be stabbed in this one. Or dying. Or wandering barefoot in the snow. I mean, Tree of Heaven is arguably my favorite serious kdrama, but I couldn't take it again.
ETA: heeeeee. She is SO wasted. She just started stripping to go to bed (cause she is so out of it) and he is totally not looking away but checking her out. And she puts on his underwear, LOL and he tries to stop her and it doesn't work, so he just lets it be and is amused.
OMG. I love fictional bad boys. Who smirk.
ETA2: LOL, and she drags him into bed as a pillow and he tries to free himself and can't LOL. Poor guy.
ETA3: He just got arrested for illegal overstay, LOL
ETA4: I have literally just yelled 'Oh My God' (in delight) at the screen less than an ep in. Because he is back in Korea. And am I hallucinating or does he generally have issues with seeing women as trustworthy and faithful? I bet it has something to do with his Mother or something. But that scene where he sees some businessman come back from a trip and his gf is all over him because he is giving her a present and he totally stares. And then he deliberately takes off his sunglasses and checks the gf out and she is so making eye-flirt with him. And sends bf away on flimsy pretext and he is all 'can I have your number?' and when she half-heartedly protests she has a bf, he walks away. And looks back and she is all disappointed and he is 'does it matter? Can you lend me some $$$? I'll remember your number.'
She totally does, too.

I also love that this drama acknowledges that the lead is scorching hot.
And then some time later he walks out of terminal, with that lady being all fake-cooing with her bf, and he waves the $$$ at her and is 'I'll call you.' And walks off smirking. I love.
ETA5: I kinda like the goofy playboy older brother of Lee Wan's as he us a good friend of hers, really, even if he doesn't see her as a girl. But sorry, he isn't cool enough to compete with Korean Haru :)
