WOW.
I really hope Lee Wan isn't as good in his other dramas because otherwise there is a chance he'd displace Rain as my fave and that shouldn't be allowed.
I love their magic time in the house. He's decided to go clean (though it's clear boss won't let him) and so he is enjoying his (limited) time with her.
Did I mention that he basically crawled home with the knife wound to collapse on her. And he is there unconscious (after the doctor left) and Hana is holding his hand going 'did you do it for me? I can't stay with you if so' and then he comes to himself and asks her to smile and she tells him she will if he promises to stay with her, not someday later, but now. And he won't. OMG.
But yes, they have the wonderful time fake-playing-house. I love when she is shampooing him (because he can't take a bath because of the wound) and he is just lying on her lap with his eyes open, drinking her in. And he is thinking he won't see her for a long time so he has to remember her eyes and her nose and her mouth. And she tells him to close his eyes (so she could continue) but he won't and there is playfulness and awesomeness.
And he takes her ice-skating except neither of them know how but he is too cool to admit it (but she is better of the two so he ends up clutching her LOL). And they lie on the ice and she says she misses stars and he clicks his fingers and lights in star pattern come in and some of them are red and spell out 'I will protect you forever.'
OMG.
And then he does have to go to the Chairman (to plead to be let go, promising he won't tell about the Chairman himself) and I love the last look he takes at her, while she is playfully preparing dinner, unknowing.
Seriously, he is so incredibly intense. Whoa. In RL, I would never want him as a boyfriend. Leaving aside the issue of him being a marked man, such intensity would be a bit uncomfortable after a while. But in fiction? It's unbelievably addicting. It is hard not to love a character who loves so much and so utterly.
Anyway, on the way back he gets ambushed and almost buys it and he is remembering their good times and is 'Hana, I am so tired.' OMG. And he thinks he should tell her how he feels (OK, you are both idiots, woobies. A mentally retarded mouse can tell the way you love each other, Romeo-and-Juliet style. I really think that while words are nice, they are superfluous at this point).
And he does make it home and she is waiting outside for him and she sees him and runs to him and holds him tightly and goes 'I love you, I love you, I love you.' And she tells him she was so afraid she's lost him, and she wants to tll him how she feels, doesn't want to lose another chance. And she tells him he doesn't have to answer her just like long ago he told her she didn't have to answer him. And OMG he basically tells her he has no right to love her (because of his past I guess) but OMG his eyes! It's like everything he's ever wanted and everything he can't have. And she is still holding him and she tells him, with utter conviction, she doesn't care about his past, she cares only about the present and she loves him and then as he starts to say something, she shushes him in this incredibly tender gesture by putting her hand, very gently on his mouth and they just stare at each other. And then...
And then...
She stands on very tiptoes (I love that she has to do that. Tall guy/short girl is AWESOME) and very slowly and gently reaches and kisses her hand covering his mouth, in this very delicate indirect kiss that is just...
JUST.
As he looks at her.
I think I am dead.
And then she is all blushy and he teases her and there is snow rubbing and cuteness and OMG, this drama was written for ME.
I am sorry but how can Senpai or any other man compare? If you don't take her, YS, Hana will be a spinster forever and you should totally save her from that dreary fate!
Did I mention that the comic relief mobsters are awesome. One of them was reading shoujo for ideas on how to please Hana :D He suggested a Prince which second-in-command vetoed as Hana already has a Prince in YS. You are damn right, second in command!
I am on five hours of sleep btw. I got up early to watch this. Heeeeeelp.

There are some amazing 'love with a tinge of madness' moments there and some great bits of sacrificing self for love and self-loathing and everything...
