But that scene where he comes for the mob meeting (why is he hotter when doing mob stuff? That is WRONG) and he has to come to Maya's place because senior boss insisted and she sees him and she runs to him, screaming 'oppa' and he pushes her away and tells her she made a mistake? And grins and drinks his brandy? OMG OMG.

And the goons bodily escort her out.

OMG. One of my huge fiction kinks is when a guy has to pretend he doesn't love a girl even though he is dying inside and THIS IS IT. And Yoon-Suh does it while wearing all black and being tough mob guy? EEEE!

And she waits outside for him and then runs after him and he repeats the mistake thing and gets into a car and she runs after the car screaming 'oppa' over and over. And he just sits in the car with a set face. And then when his second in command asks him, he says the thing I (loosely) quoted above. OMG OMG. OMG. And his eyes. And he knows if he sees her, he is lost. And the second in command, almost with pity, is 'stop the car' and YS is forbidding it, saying it's an order and he looks destroyed. I love dramas where the love is so strong that it's almost irrational, no control. Especially if the guy is a very strong indivudual. EEEE.

I must ask...is Maya a really and truly hate worthy character(if she's who I'm thinking of...Hana's cousin) Because...I loved the actress in Sapuri and Brother Beat(more there) and I'm always nervous about watching and actor of actress I like in a truly hate-worthy role. It's one of the main reasons I haven't watched that kamisama one...I refuse to hate a character played by Nakama Yukie(who I'm much more attached to than this actress, but...)

She might redeem herself in the future, but yes for now she is hateful (not like someone like Hyo-Rin or Zi Yi in ISWAK where they are other women but have positive traits).

Who is Nakama Yukie in Kamisama? If she is the singer in Takeshi's group, she wasn't evil at all. You know how protective I get of my OTPs, but I totally saw her point and liked her (except for one scene and even there I understood her well).

I believe her name was Kaoru...her character liked the guy and his wife or girlfriend or whatever had been her sister or cousin or some such. I distinctly recall some hating on her while you were watching. It was scary.

Oh yeah, her. There was hating during the airport scene. But I guess I objectively can see her point. Still hate, but can see. She is not sociopath like Maya :) And you might actually not mind that action as much as I did.

heh. I always try to view what characters are doing objectively, as opposed to just "HOW DARE YOU DO THAT TO MY OTP??!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?" but it doesn't always work....and always requires a lot of self-control. For the most part, I think doramas tend to make the OTP interferers sympathetic, but there are exceptions(like the nutso Yukari in Kurosagi, or that twit in 1% of Anything, who literally set the main girl up to be raped...fortunately, the guy she expected to do the raping was a decent guy and as soon as he got there he made sure she was just sleeping as opposed to hiurt and then called Kang Dong Won so he could come and be a good OTP) But usually I can see their reasons, even if I don't agree or approve.
