3:10 to Yuma owns me
Sep. 16th, 2007 12:47 amJust got back from 3:10 to Yuma.
Wow.
WOW.
This is my favorite movie of the year, by far, the first one I really fell in love with.
Christian Bale is amazing as a man who is all the more heroic for not being a hero, but someone fallible, flawed. But persevering nontheless. But the movie belongs to Russell Crowe who utterly steals it (as he has done every movie I've ever seen him in. I have yet to see a movie of his I didn't love). His character is a complete force of nature, and is irresistable, and complex and just...
And when the two of them square off with each other? It's total heaven.
P.S. I finally understand the appeal of slash :)
