Here are (after a bit of an interval, I apologize), more of my pictures from Japan.

Quiet, willow lined street in a random part of Tokyo early in the morning.

We found a small street stand on a side street there selling food and being hungry, bought a couple fo bento boxes using gestures and grins. We sat on the curb near a small parking lot and ate it, and being in a 'oooh, shiny and new' mood, I took pictures of the box. Unfortunately, after I ate it :P

More of the street:

Downtown, pretty dead on the weekend:

Public art, mark one:

Public art, mark two:

Walking to Ginza:

I love the veritcality of the signs (and yes, that is Mr. Mousie's back):

Yup, the upscale awesome Ginza. So pwns 5th Avenue:

Main thoroughfare:

And quieter sidestreets:

Super upscale store plus a doorman:

More Ginza sidestreets:

Bustling:

Inside the swanky department store:

Next up (later today). Post full of pictures of FOOD as I go mad in a department store in Ginza.
