Having fun in Queens

dangermousieEnded up going to Jackson Heights briefly (I got a copy of Guru) and then went to Flushing.
Iheartpotatoes was right. The chinatown was gigantic. We had yummy bubble tea and noodles (Shin brand, heee. I was thinking of Goong) and then I went to a toy store where I bought the cutest stuff toy. Seeing as it is Korean and cute, I am gonna name it Gong-chan. Heeee.
Then we stopped by a Chinese language bookstore. Why, you might ask. 'Dangermousie, did you learn Chinese?' The answer is unfortunately no, but the second story, with racks of dvds and cds, held the answer. I bought Smiling Pasta soundtrack and a couple of Korean (eng sub) movies. No idea what they are as the titles are in Korean but one had school-girl with a gun, so how bad could it be, and the other starred Han Ji Hye and looked cute (also on the back had English description from a Richard Gere movie and credits from.Independence Day. Hmmm...)
I also succumbed to greedy impulse and bought a drama. Why greedy? It is seven disks. In chinese. No subs. Also, since the title is also in chinese, I have no idea what it is. But it did have Dylan Kuo on the cover, so how bad can it be? (Wiki is unhelpful in iding it). Will watch in wonder I guess...
