Waiting a week in between eps for Dresden Files eps is killing me...not sure I could handle it for more than 1 series. i'm only surviving there because I'm used to waiting a year in between the books.

And yes, I would do the same with Dean wwere I SSS. Sam I more want to find a nice, sweet girl for and lock them in a demon-free zone(and am I the only one who thought the museum girl in s1 was cool and would make a nice recurring love interest for Sam?)

Museum girl was cool, had chemistry with Sam, and had Dean's approval. And her career gave her an inherent usefulness as an information font any time they were dealing with anything that involved objects from the past. And can't you just hear Dean? "Sam! It's a 200 year old type monster thing. Go call your girlfriend." "She's not my girlfriend!" "Don't bother me with semantics boy! We got a monster of our butts!" "Ok ok." "And don't forget to schedule in some nookie."

Or something to that effect.

Bah...I'm in between things to watch...2 movies, 2 doramas and 2 anime out here at the parents with me and I can't choose. I believe that means it's time to catch up on Perfect Girl Evolution anime.

DVDs are getting quicker, at least for us. Some shows like Battlestar Galactica have even starting doing half seasons, which, frankly, kind of annoys me. I'd rather just buy one box set. But now when a show ends, the DVDs are out a few months later. Like Supernatural ends in late May, and the DVDs were out by September. I remember in the earlier seasons of Stargate, it took yeaeeeaaars for DVDS.

Dean totally amps up the angst in this season. His survivors guilt over what his father did is insane. I'm planning on pulling a dangermousie-love-Farscape type meta over the first season pretty soon, back when Sam was the angsty one.

And John just makes me furious. As Dean rightly points out, John never asked whether Dean wanted to be saved or not. Living with the guilt is slowly killing Dean bit by bit. Add to that the fact that daddy dearest says that it's Dean's responsibility to kill Sam if he goes nuts, I could strangle John.

Let me advise some episodes you'll love.

"Croatoan"- Dean protecting Sam with everything he's got and Sam watching his brother turn into a monster. Also Sam offering to kill himself so that Dean won't have to and Dean refusing saying that whatever happens they'll end up there together

"Crossroad Blues"- Dean considering selling out to a demon in exchange for John. John, you're sons are too good for you.

"Nightshifter"- All hell breaking loose and Dean getting nasty with the FBI agents who diss daddy.

"Born Under a Bad Sign"- Sam going absolutely off his rocker evil and Jared does it with style and sex. This one is for the Sam fangirls, fangirls in general and any female with estrogen.

BUABS is insanely good. Jensen is the better actor of the boys, but Jared just owns this episode and Jensen lets him. His version of Demon Meg is infinitely creepier and sexier.

"Nightshifter" is the best one-shot episode of the season in my opinion. Just the ending is... yeah.

And "Born Under A Bad Sign" is so freakin' good it's insane. It's a show for the fans. Obviously, non-fans can like it too, but for us it's particularly painful. I've never been more scared during an episode.

Hee! I don't know your height, but I'm only 5'3 1/2". (My husband is 6'0", which is very tall compared to me.)

More to the point, one of my high school boyfriends was 6'4", just like JP, and everything worked just fine. I have a tall-dude kink. Sigh!

Yay on you getting back on Supernatural. This season has been even better than the first one and, as people have already commented, full of yummy angst. I love it and I think you will, too :).

I finally got myself a DVD set of Season 1 and have been thinking of rewatching it, since I originally watched the entire season on tinyscreenland (where I've been following S2 as well). Actually, SPN is the only non-Asian show that I'm currently watching on a regular basis.

Heh, I'd join the line for Dean, too :). I first liked Jensen in Dark Angel, but he's even better in SPN.

Then again, Jared as evil!Sam was amazing! And verrry sexy.
