I just read the summary of the ending postcript story for Hana Yori Dango (the one set a year after the proper manga has ended) and heeeee...
OK, Makino, you go girl, with your mad boyfriend picking skillz! Domyouji prepaid for her college??????????
Does that mean she is a kept woman?

Now I see that all the melodrama angst was definitely worthwhile, as just think of the cash she saved through acquiring a bf that could buy her whole school several times over!
OTOH, she did save his life so I guess it's a fair trade. :D
