Gooooong....
Nov. 14th, 2006 07:50 pmOh Glee-est Glee that ever Gleed!
I have found Goong manga, translated, on-line (vol 1-10. this is vol 11 in sendspace files but haven't checked it out to see if it works yet). And it's LOVELY. I will have no weekend.
I got to say, worth it for me just for the scene (I randomly flipped through files) where Chae-Gyung insists on treating Shin's cuts because he didn't want to go to the doctor because they'd ask where they are from and he tells her she is his medicine. AWWWWW. Uber AWWWW.
And the following scene follows:

GLEEEEEE!
Since the second season of Goong has been shot to hell, I'll just use this to sate Goong-craving.
Oh my gosh, in the manga her saying she wants a divorce during live interview is SO MUCH worse. Because they already had their 'normal' day and he said things like the ones in the below panels to her. And he also mentioned that he is freaking out because his dad and his best friend (Yul) turned on him and he has no idea who will turn on him next.
Also, I hate HATE Yul in this because he is telling her Shin is just playing her because he doesn't want the embarassment of divorce. EEEE!
ARGH.
The famous street kiss during their 'normal day' together:

OMG. Shin. *swoon*

Shin begging her not to ask for the divorce during the interview:

The hyperventilationy bit where Shin admits he loves her. In front of a freaking live audience:

In an earlier volume, Shin seeing Yul hug Chae-Gyung (after the 'wedding night'):

ETA: OMG, they sell Alfred Bear on line. I confess that except for Aloyisius, Sebastian Flyte's teddybear from Brideshead Revisited, Alfred bear is my favorite fictional teddybear :P According to the bag, they are also selling Shin (it says 'Shin Lee and teddy bear' but unfortunately it's unlikely. Just as well, as Mr. Mousie, tolerant as he is, might look askance at us storing a 6'2" Korean Prince in our house).
