I am definitely a Kara/Anders shipper now. Does it mean they are doomed? Noooooo. I really do like Anders in his own right, actually. And he is tall and all Resistance-leadery and misses his wife. So not a bad choice for Kara. Except I think now, after a little stint of Ozzie and Harriet Cylon style, she is too damaged for a relationship with anyone.

But Anders. Blowing things up. With Chief. And playing Pyramid with suicide bombers. And freaking out about Kara. I want to see that reunion. Before things inevitably go to hell.


I have just found out that the ship name for my BSG ship of choice, Karl 'Helo' Agathon and Sharon 'Boomer' Valerii is Shagathon. I don't normally like smooshed ship names but this is the best ship name ever. EVER.

I need people to point me in the direction of Anders/Kara icons. I remember asking that before but can't locate the entry now. And are there other good BSG fic authors who write K/A aside from the amazing lyssie?

Also, KMSD made me realize I need more Takeshi Kaneshiro dorama angst. He has not been too kind and not acted in too many of them, but I did get my hands on an English subbed version of Love 2000 which has the following plot:

The story of an intelligent but lovelorn systems engineer (Nakayama) who fell for a handsome and charismatic stranger (Kaneshiro) whom she believes to be a high-ranking Foreign Affairs guy. In truth, he is actually a spy who is to execute someone who turns out to be his own biological father. A drama that looks at the wave of the future--computer specialists and international terrorists.

I mean, who could resist? You got doomed sneaky love. People who are supposed to off their own fathers. Can you say aaaangst? And if we are lucky, leather pants.

And that's it for TK and doramas, unless you want to watch a dorama about bowling which I don't. Even a fangirl's got to stop somewhere.
