More Silence ep 5 meta

dangermousieFinished episode 5 of Silence. OMG. So good. I also want to smack Zuo Jun Ge. I guess it means the OTP made it, when I want to smack anyone potentially coming between. But he knows WY is the one SS is looking for, and not only does he not mention it, but when he finds out WY is going to cancel the demolition, he tricks the flunkie (because he thinks SS is going to be there) so that the courtyard people won't find out WY did it. Ugh. Go jump into a nearest river.
Normally, I'd be a bit more tolerant of OTP obstruction, but I am deathly afraid he'll end up with SS, because the preview for 6 is here at the end of the ep, and oh boy. Wei Yi only has three months to live???!!! Grrrrr. They better pull out a miracle cure. If he dies in her arms or similar, I will throw things.
But OMG, the OTP scenes in the ep are lovely lovely LOVELY. Just as good in the second half as the first. I love when Jun gives SS shoes and she flashes to WY putting shoes on her feet. And they both clearly remember each other. I love when she writes his name in the steam. I love that little bit where WY has lunch with a friend and says the friend is one of the two people who doesn't think WY cold-blooded and the friend assumes he means his fiancee, but of course he means Shen Shen. (And yeah, friend reenforces that WY's business persona is a mask he puts on).
And OMG! He cancels the demolition for 10 days (but his bitch assistant is going to ruin it, argh! What's with the scene of SS flinging money into his face). And despite Jun's best efforts, SS finds out it's him because she comes looking for him in that office. I love the scene where she finds him on the bench, all in pin from that chronic thing he has and she touches his shoulder and he looks up, and he looks so young, and lost, and vulnerable. And she grabs his arm and he manages to stammer out 'You want to fight with a sick person?' but instead she wants him to see a doctor. And he doesn't want to but she insists, and I love that he then asks her 'Must I?' and eeeeeee, he is totally obeying her and he is like such a little boy there and OMG. Seriously. Whoever came up with this dorama and got Vic Zhou to do it, I am eternally in your debt.
Also, I definitely want his fiance and her younger, basketball playing partner to hook up. They are adorable together. I love it when he pats her head (because she indicated she wanted WY to do it to her). He is so clearly into her though he is concealing it.
In conclusion? I want human cloning. Now. I want a Wei Yi lookalike.
ETA: OMG. How could I forget? I love the bit where SS is in SiXi courtyard and the little boy is talking to 'Uncle' and says that he knew WY was a good person. And Uncle asks how, and the boy says it's because of his eyes. And then, when asked what he means, he says OMG OMG OMG that WY's eyes when he looks at SS have the same look in them as Zuo Jun's. And the look on SS's face!
